"Dusty walls; many, many marks and stains on floor, walls, and woodwork. Parking in front of rooms full of cigarette butts and small trash. Price was cheap but definitely not worth the bargain. Needs extensive deep cleaning and repainting."

"Whenever my family and I visit the Williamsburg area, Vacation Village is always our first choice. We love how clean and well-maintained the apartments are, and the peaceful, quiet atmosphere makes it easy to relax. One of our favorite features is the swimming pool, along with all the other amenities the resort has to offer. While we’re here, we usually spend a day at Great Wolf Lodge and explore other local attractions, which makes every trip even more enjoyable. We always have a wonderful experience and look forward to staying here each time we visit Williamsburg!"
"Front desk staff was great. Friendly, helpful, and efficient. Parking was easy. The room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. Only drawback was the pool didnt appear to be maintained to the same standard.
Breakfast was much more than we expected. Bacon, eggs, waffles, a selection of cereals, yogurt, juices in addition to sweet rolls, coffee, tea and hot chocolate."
"The property has a great all inclusive breakfast and also love the fact that they have an outdoor pool since the neighboring hotel doesn't. I've stayed here in the past when visiting family near by and haven't been disappointed. Also I want to thank the two front desk employees Michelle and Tyrese, for understanding my situation and being super accommodating to my needs. You guys rock!!! See you all again in the near future."
Beautiful & Peaceful House Overlooking the River. Pets Welcome! Kayaks and Dock
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay on the York River and would definitely recommend this house! It was clean, spacious, and exactly as described. The well-equipped kitchen, plenty of room to spread out, and three full bathrooms worked perfectly for our group of five adults. The fenced yard was also a huge bonus for our dog.We especially enjoyed the easy access to the river during the hot weather. The two kayaks, one canoe, and variety of life jackets made it easy to get out on the water, and the views from the house are beautiful. Although we didn't use the fire pit, it was a nice amenity to have available. The location was perfect for us, only about 20 minutes to the restaurants and shops in historic Gloucester, around 30 minutes to the Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center, and less than an hour to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. The host was very responsive. We let them know the garbage barrels were full when we arrived and they arranged to have them emptied the very next day, which we really appreciated. The only thing future guests should know is that the house sits high on a hill. The elevation provides spectacular views of the river, but the walk down to the dock and waterfront could be challenging for anyone with mobility concerns.Overall, this was a great property in a peaceful location and we'd gladly stay here again."
Kimary Cove - Waterfront Relaxation and NO CLEANING FEE
10/10 Excellent
"My mother and I so enjoyed our stay at Kim's in Cobbs Creek. This was my mother's first Airbnb experience. Because of Kim's attention to detail, my mother will no longer stay in a hotel ever again. Kim goes above and beyond and thinks of absolutely everything you possibly may need or forgotten. It defiantly was home away from home. The next time we come to visit the area we most certainly plan on staying agin."
Private sand beach on Chesapeake Bay--Great for Kids--Sunrise/Sunset Views
10/10 Excellent
"Such a gem! Spent a weekend away from the hustle here with a good book, groceries to test out a few new recipes, and instant camera in tow. We were greeted with fresh flowers (picked from the yard), and so many lovely hydrangea bushes in bloom, somewhat jealous mine aren’t blooming like that yet. We watched a storm blow through and were greeted by the infamous jellyfish. Spent most of our non-sun time on the fully screened wrap around porch. All of the beach/water paraphernalia you could need (towels, toys, and emergency backup bug spray/itch relief and sunscreen) was available. I especially appreciated the charging station for all the different types of devices. The kitchen (and its grumpy fridge) had the pots/pans/measuring cups/hand mixer and more to be able to easily prep all our meals. Pack your swim suit or two or three and explore-if you want the water/beach, but prefer a less populated location then this might be the place for you to enjoy the hypnotic lapping of waves on the beach."
