Nostalgic visit to the Phoenix

Great location about a 6 minute walk to the Gondola. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable bedrooms and baths. Master bedroom has a king and bunk beds. Full bath on main level and two bedrooms below. Good to back to The Phoenix after many visits when our children were younger.

Housekeeping/ maintenance was not responsive, but the unit itself was exactly as described and had enough in the kitchen for us to hang out and use the kitchen. The beds were comfy.

The space was great for our family of 6. The decor was nice and rustic for the mountains. One issue was that the bathrooms are quite small with very little storage for your dob kit etc., the bathroom upstairs was larger but hot water wasn’t working (can be fixed obviously). Additionally the kitchen is very well stocked but leaves little room for food storage. The attached garage is great, but a tight squeeze for your bigger cars/vans. Overall I would give it 4.5 and we would stay here again. The location is super close to the bottom of the mountain and very convenient.

Close walk to Gondola. Well cared for unit. Comfortable. Only complaint is that the bunks were in the room with the king bed and a queen in the other. A win for one of the kids who got a king bed, not do much for Mom and Dad.

Winter Ski Trip

The property was well maintained and true its online description. Very convenient to the slopes/gondola area with nearby shops and restaurants. The shuttle was surprisingly well run and we were able to get to downtown for shopping and dinner without any issues.
