As your host, I invite you to my welcoming home and your holiday apartment, “Eulennest.” Your comfort is very important to me! You’ll immediately feel right at home and truly on holiday! You’ll stay under an original thatched roof in a wonderfully peaceful and idyllic setting, right in the middle of a nature reserve on a 10,000-square-meter property.
The house—ideal for your family holiday and for couples of all ages—with your “Eulennest” holiday apartment is situated in a very quiet location with an absolutely unobstructed view of the East Frisian meadows and fields, far from any through traffic in the small village of Folstenhausen, near the North Sea spa towns of Esens-Bensersiel and Neuharlingersiel on the East Frisian North Sea coast.
The North Sea spa town of Bensersiel and the beach are just six kilometres away and are located directly within the unique natural wonder known as the “Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park,” a “UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site” since 2009. You can easily get there in 10 minutes by car or in a leisurely three-quarters of an hour by bike.
The “Eulennest” holiday rental is ideal for a wonderful North Sea holiday for two to four people. It is tastefully decorated in a cosy East Frisian style, bright, and very comfortably furnished; at the same time, it is very welcoming and spacious, as well as very well equipped with modern amenities. In approximately 75 square metres, you’ll find everything you need for a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.
Adjacent to the holiday rental is a guest pavilion with a grill and patio furniture, a beach chair, and a large play and sunbathing area with a fantastic, sweeping view of the fields surrounding the house and of the sunrise and sunset— especially at dawn and dusk, when you can often spot wildlife! The terrace and garden are perfect for just lazing around in the sun or, over a cup of tea—because this is East Frisia, after all—finally getting around to reading a good book.



If you’d like to give it a try, we’ll turn your holiday into a creative getaway—I can offer plenty of creative ideas and guide you a bit by, for example, showing you how to paint on canvas and all sorts of other things. I’m also always available to help your children get creative! You’ll find examples of my own work all over the holiday rental. If you’d rather not, I’ll of course be happy to leave you in peace—that goes without saying. And here in our wonderful little corner of the world, you can really clear your head!

It’s not far to the North Sea coast—and thus to the dike, the tourist attractions, and the health resorts, such as the two North Sea spa towns of Esens-Bensersiel or Neuharlingersiel, or Dornumersiel. Especially by bike, you can explore the area wonderfully from here!
By bike, you have—in the truest sense of the word—the healthiest route across the countryside to the North Sea, the coastal resorts, or the dike. Our location is ideal for walks, bike rides, and all kinds of adventures into the unique and diverse nature of East Frisia. Enjoy an active yet relaxing holiday by the North Sea and make the most of the region’s invigorating climate.
Oh... and if you’re an angler: Numerous bodies of water nestled in the beautiful East Frisian countryside are at your disposal for a great fishing experience. Whether it’s eel, carp, pike, or zander—the “Tiefs” have an abundant supply. For fans of sea fishing, there are great opportunities right on the dike or on a fishing tour—for example, aboard one of the fishing boats from Dornumersiel, Bensersiel, or Neuharlingersiel.
