Auch den Müllplatz mussten wir erfragen, da wir ihn selbst nicht finden konnten. Davon abgesehen hat uns der Aufenthalt gefallen. Das Zimmer war für 2 Personen groß genug."

"Seit Jahren zieht es uns immer wieder in die gleiche Gegend – diesmal ins schöne Nienhagen. Schon die Angabe „nur 650 Meter bis zum Strand“ hat uns gelockt. Vor Ort mussten wir dann allerdings feststellen, dass die Steilküste aktuell gesperrt ist – ein kleiner Hinweis dazu vorab wäre super gewesen, denn so mussten wir deutlich weiter laufen, um ans Wasser zu kommen.Aber ganz ehrlich: Dieser Blick über die Ostsee entschädigt für alles! "The room was comfortable, if smaller than some we have used and there were no tea/coffee making facilities but generally OK. Staff were friendly and helpful although parking could be better (we have a disabled badge and parked on-street which was more convenient). Breakfast was good. The surrounding area was fairly scruffy as clearly this part of Rostock is still in the process of development/improvement. Restaurants were on the other side of what was effectively a dual carriageway with few convenient crossing points but a good choice of outlets. Rostock as a whole is not an obvious place to visit but there is plenty to see from both the historic and communist eras. The beach resort of Warnemunde is good for high-end shopping and eating although the beach itself is a disappointment. Bad Doberan is worth a visit for the minster church and the "Molli" narrow-gauge railway."
