"The property was exactly as described in the listing. Loved sitting with a glass of wine on the outside patio after a long drive from Italy. Our children found the bunk beds very comfortable and the sofa bed was fine for my husband and I for one night. A great nights sleep and a hot shower before continuing our journey. The caretaker was a true gentleman and assisted us when we struggled to get the key back in the lockbox on check out. The communication with the owner was excellent. "

"A great option for a family stay in Basel. We were travelling from the UK. Could sleep up to 6 comfortably but only one bedroom - with two double beds. Living room had 3 sofa beds - instructions provided to allow them to be flattened. Apartment was clean. Helpful touches were the two Swiss electrical adapters for the Swiss sunken style power outlets (normal round European adapters don’t fit!) as well as a kettle and toaster. "Excellent location - highly recommend! Stayed here (Aug 2026) and was very pleasantly surprised! The hotel is right next to the train station which was incredibly convenient - just a stone's throw from the street Bahn stops The staff was very friendly and helpful, and even gave me a one-day pass to ride the city's bus system / street Bahn. The whole place was very clean. Great amenities too - there's an ice machine with dispensing filtered water, and the rooms were nice and cool (Summer time) and comfortable Perfect location, clean, friendly, and great value. I highly recommend this hotel."
