Family Weekend

This house was perfect for family weekend!! Close to town but out of the hustle and bustle. Very relaxing country home. Loved sitting on the porch in the mornings drinking coffee with the sound of the birds and the country scenery.

Country living

We had a lovely time at The Red Brick. So very peaceful with big windows looking out on the property and a comfy porch swing in which to relax and enjoy the day or evening. It was just what my daughter and I needed for a getaway and while visiting other family in town too.

Homey piece of country

If you are looking for a peaceful country atmosphere and enjoy the uniqueness of a farmhouse with beautiful sunsets this is the place!! Hostess was wonderful and only 5 minutes from town. Short weekend to watch our college son play lacrosse. Enjoyed the hot tub and sunsets. Would stay again.

The Red Brick House

Such a charming property! The property manager was very prompt in responding to my questions and had clear directions on how to leave the property. The property was rural, with deer grazing near a pond. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our weekend stay at the Red Brick House. We loved everything about it and the morning view was great!! Also saw a big group of doe running through the pasture. It was very convenient for us to get to town for homecoming festivities and extremely convenient to get to the bonfire since it is just down the road from the house. The hot water heater was not working that is something that can not be controlled. I contacted Marilyn and Charlie was down immediately to check on it and we were taken care of. We will definitely be staying here again. We are already planning a moms only weekend! Thank you Charlie and Marilyn for your hospitality!!

Tarleton Stampede Weekend

This is the second time staying in the red brick house. We love the location, hot tub, cleanliness and so close to stephenville but in the country. Marilyn is very responsive and accomodating. Highly recommend this property

Perfect place for a quiet getaway!!

We stayed at the Red Brick for my son’s graduation at Tarleton. It was even better than the pictures and description on VRBO! The house and property were immaculate, and the beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed (and more) for our stay. The house is larger than it looks online, and is the perfect setup for families. The rural atmosphere was so quiet and peaceful. (We saw many deer both days!) Communication with the host was great. I wish we could have stayed longer. Hopefully we can come back in the near future!

Adorable Country Home

We enjoyed our stay at the Red Brick House. It is conveniently located in the country, but close to town. It was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family while we were in Stephenville for a stock show. It is a charming old house, but updated with modern conveniences such as central heat and air, and the hot tub was a nice edition. The owners are great about communicating. Loved it!

Peaceful Getaway

The property is quaint and just remote enough to be quiet and relaxing. Marilyn is quick to respond to any inquiries and so very helpful. The property is well maintained and everything we needed was provided: ample cooking accoutrements, towels, sheets and blankets, extra travel size toiletries...nothing was left out. The porch swing was divine. Patio furniture outside on each of the decks and patio made it easy to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. A wonderful trip all the way around. Would stay here again for sure.

Totally Tarleton convenient

Super easy location. Great for running back and forth in town and day trips. The old house is full of rustic charm. Need to write up the history! The hot tub and sunset are a perfect mix. The Host is very honest about the 'older' home and it's limitations....small doors, stairs and stoops and stone walks. It was great for us but that's why it is always good to read the full descriptions offered. It can be a perfect little find in city and in the country all in one stay.
