"This is an odd comment perhaps, but the vending machines did not accept credit cards and I rarely carry cash. Also , the grounds around the building are rather uneven which made walking to the lobby at night a bit chancy since my husband walks with a cane. But the room was nice and the staff were very helpful. Great shower too (good water pressure)"

"The property is very well maintained and parking is great and safe. Even though the freeway is close you don’t hear any traffic and it is very quiet. A short walk of maybe 50 yards are the Golden Arches or the Bell! Also a wonderful TJs Roadhouse in the same parking lot- great food. Very clean; lots of piping hot shower water pressure. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff- probably owner. A MarVal market with a hundred yards with a bakery and plenty of organic options. Great old school coffee maker- coffee or hot water. Starbucks within 100 yards. Air works really well. The King bed was very firm which my husband and I loved as we have bad backs. Great firm mattress. The property is not new but a steal. Lovely stay for about $80 a night including taxes. Basically a steal in California. Close enough to Reno Tahoe or Sacramento to make it worth it. Will stay again gladly."

"This is a beautiful property to stay on and so affordable. Unfortunately we ended up with a room with a leaky toilet and it ran with a high pitched squeal every ten minutes or so. closing the pocket door helped a little but this seems like something that could be maintained better. There were also several black hairs on the walls in the shower telling me it must not have been cleaned after the last guest. It was still worth the visit and is a great affordable optio walking distance from downtown NV City."

"It was right in the freeway, so the road noise was a little loud. Also, there was a significant amount of dust and debris in one corner, and if I had been traveling with children I would have asked that it be cleaned or I have another room. But since I wasn’t staying in the room much, I just ignored it. The breakfast was ok, but the pancake machine ran out of batter around 9am and there was no active attendant on duty to change it, so the second day I only got one pancake."

"This cottage is homey, clean, convenient and perfect. We adored it. We booked it as a place to crash after a family wedding and were blown away by how charming and well appointed it is. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely book it again if we were in the area."

"The property was absolutely gorgeous, very spacious, and accommodated our group of 17 very comfortably for our 3-day stay. Everything you could possibly need was provided, and we had an amazing time enjoying the pool and deck. We genuinely wished we could have added another night or two.A quick tip for future renters:Standard cosmetic wear or loose concealed hinges can get flagged post-checkout. After our stay, the owner noted repair requests to their insurance company for three cabinet doors. One cabinet door we noticed to be off the hinge upon our arrival but did not flag it with the owner. The other two cabinets, we did not use. In a massive, multi-room home packed with a multitude of cabinets and drawers, guests naturally aren't auditing every cabinet interior during a short visit. However, my advice to future guests is to document the condition of the home very carefully upon arrival and immediately report anything that appears loose, damaged or out of place."
