The room was okay. For a budget hotel, it wasn't too bad. The rooms are definitely dated and could use some upgrades, but they did appear clean. The bed was pretty comfortable although the pillows are horrible, worn and lumpy as heck. Minimal amenities and no hair dryer. For one night though it was fine.

Beautiful Area.

There are beautiful views outside our window. The lady at check in was very friendly. The town of Stevenson was charming.

When we checked in they told us they didn’t have a room because they cancelled our reservation. Then they gave us a room that was infected with bed bugs. At 2am I woke up with a bed bug attached and feeding on my neck. I went to the hotel desk immediately and requested another room. They gave us another room with a single bed and I didn’t sleep the rest of the night. I then asked for a refund the next day and they told us that we had to go through Expedia. Avoiding this property at all costs is definitely the move!

Floors were SO clean. The whole place so clean. My room needed some TLC in terms of aesthetic repairs, but everything worked well, and I can't stress this enough.... So dang clean

there are few places to stay in Stevenson. I always stay at Rodeway Inn. It does not pretend to be great. I find it adequate and reasonably priced. That has its merits. It is well situated in town so walking everywhere is possible. Sometimes just good enough is just fine
