  • Welcome to Rock Barn Hollow! This three-bedroom, two-bath home is situated on five acres of private property and just six miles to the nearest boat launch at Orleans Trail Marina. If you are looking for a quiet, secluded getaway but still want to be within a few miles of town, then this is your place! Dozens of towering black walnut trees offer shade and security over multiple outdoor seating areas. Feel free to explore the antiquated rock barn next to the fire pit, which was built in the mid-1800's. Inside the barn will be firewood that will be provided for your stay. Off the back covered porch, you will find an Amish-built picnic table perfect for family and friends to gather over dinner or drinks. The horseshoe driveway, which begins and ends right off of blacktop, makes pulling trailers and boats a breeze! There is also covered boat parking in case of troublesome weather.

    Inside this home, you will find a gaming table, perfect for poker, Scrabble or other games, several of which are provided. A new 65-inch smart television with DVD player and a Polk sound bar are ready for your use! You can utilize the television music channels provided or connect to your bluetooth compatible device. We now have fiber optic high-speed internet, perfect for streaming your favorite movies, sports and shows. Multiple free television channels are also available.

    This property was newly renovated and offers central AC and heat, washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave and ice maker. All mattresses and linens are top-of-the-line and new, ensuring you and yours a good nights rest.

    Nearby Stockton Lake and State Park offers a variety of outdoor activities including boating, hiking trails, swimming beaches, biking trails, summer and fall events and festivals, several restaurants and bars, and grocery shopping. Stockton lake offers 300 miles of unspoiled shoreline and almost 25,000 acres of pristine water. By June, the lake water temperature is already in the high 70's, low 80's making floating and swimming very comfortable. Stockton Lake is truly one of the last best kept secrets in Missouri. House was very clean and tidy, property was a good size and secluded, nice back porch, and a fire pit in the yard with wood available. About a 15 minute drive to the lake or town. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again. Our group had a nice time.

2nd stay as good as the first!

This is a great house in a peaceful area with lots of room. Kitchen is stocked but still leaves plenty of room to store your food and supplies. The property is big, can take a nice walk and watched the horses, chickens and longhorn cattle. Close to multiple Stockton boat ramps. Owner is very responsive and kind. We'll be back!

Amazing Stay - Comfiest Beds!

There are three rooms and one with bunk beds so plan accordingly. The mattresses on the full size beds in the 2 larger bedrooms are soooo comfy it’s relaxing after a busy day out. The appliances and items included in your stay is top notch! All the towels were plush, the amenities onsite top notch and The showers roomy. Very fre neighbors so nice and quiet and dark at night. A gorgeous night in the country. Close to Town and the lake. 2 miles from the nearest grocery store. We would definitely stay here again

Quiet country home.

My daughter & I stayed here with my three grandchildren. We had a great time. The house was super clean and very quiet. Hugh yard. We cooked a couple of simple meals & had all the kitchenware we needed. You are out in the country but super close to town & Stockton lake. Took less than 10 minutes to reach both. The clothes line was much appreciated after spending the day at the beach. Rachel, the host was quick to respond to messages. Very pretty property. We loved our stay!

Loved the location, property was very clean, neat and tidy, well stocked and had lots of nice decorations. The property was very peaceful and easy to find and easy to get to the lake and beach swim area. Downtown Stockton is quaint and there are a few good places to eat out. Woods grocery is close by to pick up items that may have forgotten for lake trip. Would definitely return to this location and this property, give it a 10 out of 10!
