Good Stay for our family visit
Everything was as stated on the site, just a little too rustic for me and my husband. If anyone has pet allergies, you may want to contact the owner before booking.

Not set up for boat parking
Not set up for boat parking. A neighbor across the street would not allow us to park on their property next to the road due to where we had to get permission from a neighboring property to park a boat other than that place was awesome would love to stay there if they would take out that little rock garden next to the north side of the property would be adequate boat parking and would love to stay there again.

Cozy cabin for two
Great communication and responsiveness, the bed was small and tight between the wall and door , so difficult to navigate. Could use some deep cleaning and updating. Great short stay for two.

Great property for a nice, relaxing stay!
We rented this property as an overflow for our bass club, which stayed across the street as well. Brad's attention to detail and the very helpful communication getting there, as well as all follow-ups was a nice bonus. Neighbors were pleasant and the evenings were quiet and relaxing after a long day on the water. I would highly recommend this property and it's owner!! Thanks Brad, hope to see you again.

Not lake front property
Needed updated and a little attention to guest staying. We had to sweep off deck and do some cleaning before we could enjoy the cabin. The cleanliness is based on previous guests, maybe that's the problem. We did enjoy the quiet atmosphere and Stockton lake.

Quiet getaway
This place is nestled among other lake houses. Everyone treats you like family. You can be as social as you want or just chill on the deck. The lake is within walking distance and was not crowded. The property manager responds to any needs or questions immediately.

The perfect fishing cabin or weekend getaway spot.
For starters the manager was absolutely awesome. Very responsive to any questions or concerns. The cabin is on the lower level with another upstairs unit. Very quiet and absolutely no noise. Everything about this place is perfect for a small group of fisherman wanting to get away for the weekend. Very cozy little place. I highly recommend and will be staying again myself.

Wonderful Christmas break!
We rented the cabin vs staying in a hotel and was well worth it! Very nice and clean. Access to the lake was very nice, and warmer weather allowed for little fishing. I would highly recommend staying here if available if you are planning a stay. We will stay again for sure.

Print a map we lost gps a couple times in this area. Clean cabin, peaceful, everything you need in case you forgot something. Bed is pushed up against a wall wife would either climb over me or wake me up in middle of the night to pee. I found myself frequently bumping the bedroom that smack me back so you're gonna wanna keep it closed. It was a charming peaceful stay.

The cabin rental was clean and had what we needed. What really made the trip was the people. We met an amazing group including the owner of the place we rented. My husband has been obsessed with buying a place in the little community near this part of the lake. We all had an amazing time and will return.

Our first trip to Stockton Lake. Location of the cabin was very convenient to everything. The cabin was stocked with everything that we needed for our stay. Very friendly people! Would definitely stay here again!

Loved how quiet it was was not to happy when we got in had to clean a little and said no pets but someone had dogs in it dog hair on footstools. Sliding glass door was dirty had to clean it to see out also was hard to open and close screen just needs new tracks I think but it was a ok place to stay overall also don't tell you they don't have tv just ruko so was very disappointed couldn't see local news in Stockton or surrounding areas

Tidy, non lake view property
This small property sits in a 2 part section apartment style building with several homes around it. Upon checkin the owner called, and even was at the property when we arrived to walk us through the area we would be staying in. It was a little unusual as we have done several Home Aways and VRBOS, and never once had the owner be so engaged. This property is clean, but very small and the pull away from the wall for the second set of bedroom sleeping arrangements is practical but not comfortable for any length of stay. There isn’t a quick walk to the boat dock or swim area. It’s .4 miles, but you must drive it - which is super inconvenient for transporting back n forth. In addition, one of the other property owners addressed my husband in the last day of our stay while he was emptying the trash in the pouring rain demanding to know which cabin was ours- it was very rude, and out of context for the area that this inexpensive property sits in. The property definitely needs updating, even though it’s clean and maintained the shower stall is in rough shape, along with the second bed setup - the charcoal grill needs thrown away and there was already trash in the trash cans when we arrived and where expected to take all trash out to dumpster. Overall, it was a well supplied property allowing the supplied amenities of paper plates, laundry soap, shampoo and more. The owner did make a strange comment to my husband about the camera setup on the property saying that it’s a two way setup if we had questions we could talk to the camera. This was odd, because it almost felt like maybe the owner was watching the activities while we were in the property. Overall I would give it a 3-star.

The place was clean and tidy. We were there during the week so it was very quiet and relaxing. The Host met us there and was very friendly. The only thing I would change would be the vertical blinds they would not close.

Nice Getaway
Property was very clean. Nice kitchen, well equipped. Deck railing is in need of repair so would not recommend at this time if you have small children. Great location to the lake and Stockton State Park. Communication with owner was excellent.
