"We had a wonderful stay at the Blakeslee Cottage and would absolutely return. The cottage is spacious, with vaulted ceilings, a stunning tiled fireplace, and a fantastic wraparound porch. The private side yard and fire pit are perfect for relaxing. The falls and old mill ruins are easily accessible, and there is plenty of hiking nearby. Our dogs absolutely loved exploring the trails and spending time outside. It was a little chilly for swimming, but that didn't stop them from jumping in the water! Lacy was incredibly responsive to all of our questions, and everything was exactly as described. Even with a few nearby rentals, the property felt peaceful, quiet, and private. Everyone was respectful, making it a truly relaxing getaway. The cottage is exceptionally dog-friendly, and our pups especially enjoyed lounging in the yard watching birds and chipmunks and were perfectly content curling up by the fireplace at night. The cottage had all the comforts of home and was stocked with everything we needed. There is a large TV, that we never turned on because we were too busy enjoying nature and the peaceful atmosphere. There are many dog-friendly restaurants in in the area. We visited Boulder View Tavern twice during our stay and highly recommend it. The watermelon salad was absolutely amazing! Also dog-friendly! If you're looking for a peaceful, dog-friendly retreat the Blakeslee Cottage is an excellent choice. Thank you, Lacy & Adam for sharing your beautiful property with us!"
