"The house was great, spacious and fun.
The neighborhood was beautiful, including running water and a walkable And quiet cemetery/brook behind the house.
The owners did everything I can imagine to make the home helpful and accommodating, including many small details throughout. It was a great home away from home. The location is very central to Mt Desert Island / Arcadia National Park."

"It's Coastal Maine, aka "down east" and about 1 1/2 hours to Acadia National Park....this was in the off season of October. The house is lovely, extremely clean & well appointed with access to beachfront. Awesome firepit. Easygoing email exchanges with owner. Absolutely no complaints"

"First it's down a dirt road deep in the woods. You have to go a ways to get anything. Food, gas basically any essentials. The pictures shown aren't what you really experience. Of the the place yes but the scenic pictures posted are no where near there. Some of the pictures came from brochures. You are in the woods down a dirt road. The backyard is fenced in against the forest, no view of any sort. Front is all dirt with a few neighbors. No lights so if you get there at night it's dark. No washer...
