Relaxing Home Away from Home

The property was great. Bedrooms very comfortable; whole house immaculate, instructions were very helpful and close to everything. Great weekend stay and owner was very helpful for our checking in process. Would love to stay again.

Excellent location for exploring Stonington and the surrounding area

The house is spacious and very well appointed, with very ample outdoor areas. Enjoyed the eclectic designer touches and artwork. Easy access to Water Street and most restaurants in town. Good location not only for exploring this part of CT but also nearby RI beaches such as at Watch Hill.

Amazing!

We had a great time escaping the city with our dog to this lovely home. Pet friendly, great house stocked with everything you need, and responsive management/owner who was very helpful. Would love to stay again.

Thoughtfully and tastefully appointed and stocked

A very nice place! Heavy rain during our short visit so we didn't get to see Stonington or other local sites, but we were very comfortable staying in at this property. Loved the decor!

Very Nice!

We were more than happy with the home, its amenities, location, size and being pet friendly with the yard all enclosed was a huge plus. Plenty of space and great outdoor furniture. We definitely recommend and plan to stay again. Owner was a pleasure to work with.

Cozy Kottage

Me and my husband and my parents spent 5 days at the Kottage. The home is beautiful, and had everything you could need. It was exceptionally clean! We went to visit nearby Mystic, and ended up falling in love with Stonington. The host was so helpful and responsive. Super pet friendly too! We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Stay at Kori Cottage

We were in town for a family reunion and Louis's property was perfectly located in the Stonington Borough, one of our favorite New England towns. The property is perfect for a party of 4 and is very comfortable and well appointed, with several outdoor spaces in addition to the interior gather. If you go, both Water Street Cafe and Milagro Cafe are wonderful restaurants that are about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the property - definitely worth a visit.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO property! The house was impeccably clean, with comfortable beds and high-quality linens that made us feel right at home. It was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed with everything we could possibly need—there were more than enough towels, blankets, and pillows for everyone in our group.We did run into a small issue with the keypad halfway through our stay, but Louis was incredibly responsive and helpful. He answered our call immediately and resolved the issue while we were still on the phone—great service!Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at any of Louis’s rentals in the future. Highly recommend!

Great House, Owner and Location

Stonington is a very nice, small town. Went over the 4th of July weekend and the town didn't feel cramped at all. The house is a five minute walk to cafes, restaurants and shops. The house is very clean, and has everything you may need, as it is equipped with many details. The host is great, with clear and constant communication. Overall, would recommend the house to anyone who wants to stay in the area.

One of our favorite stays.

Our group consists of two couples who love to travel within the US and abroad. We are knowledgable about what hosts offer and have our personal expectations. This home is clean, spacious and furnished for comfort. The beds were comfy, lots of soft towels. The house is on a safe and quiet street that is walkable to downtown. You should also walk over to the industrial boutique and cafe mall. Order a meatball pizza!

Pretty get-away

Great home.Very comfortable and nicely decorated. Includes all the basics plus an extremely well organized kitchen with everything you could need. Great outdoor space. management company very friendly and on top of everything. Quick walk to “downtown”. Beautiful homes surround the area. House next door is very close but never saw anyone so not an issue.

Kori Cottage was an absolutely wonderful spot for us and our dogs! The location was great, being within an easy walk to all of the local attractions, beach, shops, restaurants, etc. on both sides of the train tracks. The home itself was also thoughtfully set up, including extra dog beds for the pups and a fully fenced in large yard for them to run around in between walks and naps. The interior and exterior spaces were all extremely comfortable and it was easy to enjoy coffee on the deck and just listen to the birds in the mornings. We would highly recommend Kori Cottage for anyone looking for a getaway in the Borough!

Home away from home for renovation

We had to be out of our house for hardwood floor renovation and could not have been happier with this property. Very clean, stylish decor and not lacking for amenities in any way. Outdoor area was clean and very well kept, being fenced in was an additional bonus for the dog. Great location, a short drive to the beach or local restaurants. Louis was very responsive and a wonderful host! Thanks for letting us enjoy your beautiful property!

Awesome getaway home!

We had a wonderful stay! The moment we walked in we felt at home. The furnishings and decor are pristine and SO BEAUTIFUL! It feels like stepping into a magazine! Everything from the house's layout, unique design, cleanliness, amenities to the amazing location and walkability made for a getaway we will remember forever. The owner was extremely helpful and immediately responded to any questions. Also took the time to check in to ensure we had everything we needed. If we could give this rental more than five stars we would. We cannot wait to come back!

Exceeded expectations

We really enjoyed our time at Kori Kottage. The property over-delivered on expectations for our stay in Stonington. It's a great location; we enjoyed everything from biking, jogging, beach time and dining out in the area while leaving our car in the driveway. Small touches from the owner that show an extra effort to make guests feel welcome and appreciated were really impressive and just made this experience stand out from all other rentals we've had in the past. Upon arrival we had a few questions and the owner was incredibly responsive, getting back to us within minutes. The accommodations were five-star fabulous, including a chef's kitchen, great size deck for evening sunsets and really comfortable beds. I highly recommend this property to others planning to visit the area.

Short & Sweet Getaway

We wanted to get away with our two little guys and dog for a weekend near the water, and this was a perfect spot for a family. After checking in we took a stroll around cute and quaint Stonington. The houses are beautiful, and we enjoyed dipping our feet at Dubois beach before sunset. Short drive to Mystic and the aquarium, and not too far to bigger beaches in the area. Great communication with Louis, and very clean. Nap time for little ones could be tricky if they’re light sleepers because the house is open (which we loved) so it’s loud in the bedrooms, but there’s great outdoor space to spend that time! Our 2 1/2y.o. calls it the “cool house”

Great home and great host!

We could not have asked for a better long weekend at the shore! Louis was a fantastic host - providing a ton of great information proactively, was super responsive to any questions (we only had one!), and provided a really enjoyable experience overall. The home had everything we could have asked for - including different size pet beds to choose from! - and even included little touches that made the difference (lots of coffee pods for us coffee drinkers, amenities in the bathrooms, plastic containers for food, etc.). The house was comfortable and roomy, and having a fully fenced in yard for our dog to roam was a huge plus! My four year old especially enjoyed the karaoke machine! It's a quiet neighborhood, close to the beautiful little borough of Stonington and a short drive to LOTS of things to do (Mystic, Westerly, Watch Hill, the list goes on!). We will definitely be coming back!

Clean, bright and very inviting. Host checked in and was easy to reach. Not our first stay here, and hopefully won’t be the last! Stayed with our two young kids and dog, took lots of walks around town, and it’s a short drive to Mystic & RI beaches.
