"Very friendly staff. Great location with appropriate parking in front of room. Lovely bathroom with good shower. Beds ok but didn’t like the provided pillow but tolerable for 1 night. The overall room at first glance was clean but the provided cups and cutlery looked dirty. The ones we wanted to use we washed ourselves and ensured to clean them prior to leaving. Visible filth on the aircon remote and couldn't get the aircon to work for warmth but didnt bother us because we brought warm winter clothes with us. Overall I would go back for another night. Thanks "
"The cottage was very nice & we got it very warm & comfortable.1) We could not see the point of the key safe at the top of the front stairs, when you can only get into the property from the rear stairs/deck… being older people it was a pain & not to practical.2) we did not feel like welcomed guess, just a little note to say “HI Jill, hope you enjoy your stay (small little chalk board on the work bench would be good) & in the fridge some milk and maybe a bottle of local wine would of been nice” seeing that you are in the QLD wine district. They had Tea & Coffee & other condiments but did not milk(when you have been travelling 6 hours, it would have been nice a cuppa of tea).Any correspondence I had with the owner the replies were quite short…3) it would of been helpful to have had a more info in the welcome pack, eg how to use the TV, Fridge Ice & cold water ect, so that people are not just pressing buttons at random & could break things (not every one has good appliants).4) some of the Pink plates we chipped… not a good look.5) we run out to Loo roll’s (in the toilet next to the Kitchen) there was 4 adults using this toilet & there was 1 full roll on the holder & 2 on the window ceil that were around 1/4 full!!! So we had to buy some.."
"Fantastic place to stay. Could not fault anything. The cabin had everything that you need and the location is great. We really loved our night there and can’t wait to go back for longer."
"The place we stayed in at Thulimbah, was ideally located about 10 min from Stanthorpe and 30min from Warick. It was very clean , had 3 Brms all with BIRs an open area lounge dining and kitchen. The house is fully equipped with all the amenities to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils that anyone could need and it was easy to navigate around. There was a combustion fire for those cold nights and that certainly warmed up the interior quickly and it was very comfortable inside. There was a small book library and also a small dvd library. The property was fenced so our Jack Russell had plenty of space to do zoomies around the back yard. Teresa the property manager was very good and there was a cheese platter awaiting us on arrival. We certainly enjoyed our short stay and we would certainly go again for longer. Overall we really enjoyed our experience and stay there."
"The room was clean and inviting with lovely fresh bread and local apple juice. The fireplace was stacked and already burning, radiating warmth throughout the room. The grounds were stunning with friendly goats, fun games and lots of laughs and stories shared with happy staff and new friends met whilst tasting the delicious wines, not to forget a few pats with Max the ginger cat. A must stay, especially in the cooler months where you can enjoy breakfast on the deck, watching the fog lift up over the grape vines, as the sun slowly kisses in the sky."
"Amazing! The house is very comfortable and well equiped for self catering. We loved sitting on the veranda and really enjoyed the kangaroos and birdlife. We stayed 4 nights, and could have easily stayed longer."
