About this property

Charming 2-bedroom house in tranquil Stover Missouri. Pet friendly

  • Your Stover getaway awaits at this 2-bedroom house with queen beds, 2 bathrooms with showers, and additional spaces like a cozy living room with a sleeping sofa and a child size lounge. The totally remolded building served Stover as a blacksmith shop, a newspaper office and now a comfortable guest house. I had the personal experience of having a knee replacement and traveling was so difficult to find a total step free house. This is a step free house from the entry to the walk in showers, great for limited mobility guests. We are not fully ADA certified but folks traveling with limited mobility will be comfortable and safe. All kitchen cabinets are counter top level. A walker could be used to position at the built in shower seat with relative ease. An air purification device is available and used to limit dust/dander and allergens. Located near the Exciting Lake of the Ozarks, local wineries, brewers and numerous day trips. Street parking available in the front and on the side of the building which allows for easy pull up and exit circling the block. Those traveling to the loop with trailers should find parking easy and well lit.

This is a wonderful space, and pet-friendly! I'm a sucker for juxtaposing contemporary interiors with historic buildings, and this is definitely a cool space that showcases that approach.Super clean, generous kitchen and cozy living room. I used only one "side" of the home, but both bedrooms and bathrooms are well-appointed with serene color schemes. My mattress was comfortable, and the showers are beautiful and functional. Nice green space behind the house for exercising pets, and a park with good walking paths just a few blocks away.

Great place to stay. We LOVED the splits in each bedroom so everyone was comfortable in the temperature they desired. Well worth the money and super easy to work with! Will definitely stay again when in the area

Such a cute place to stay! Super clean and inviting, easy access to the home and a littlw patio area with a nice yard for our dogs. We had the best time visiting our kiddos for Easter weekend. Thw home had everything we needed! Definitely will book again when we are in the area!

Very cute little house in stover! Hosted my families thanksgiving celebration here and it was perfect! From the spacious kitchen, to the comfy bathrooms (perfect for winding down after a long day) everything was amazing! 10 stars!
