We had a nice stay in Stowe. We enjoyed the hot tub & fire pit while roasting marshmallows for s’mores. The house was clean and everything was as expected.

Wonderful private location

Perfect for a family reunion

Great location close to town, restaurants and trails. Well stocked kitchen utensils, plates and pans. Plenty of room for all my family. We loved the hot tub and outdoor firepit.

Weekend in Stowe, Vt.

My family and I had a great experience staying in Marks house in Stowe Vt., it was a great location being only minutes from restaurants, the mountain, shopping and everything else we wanted to do. The house was very clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. We had a wonderful time and will definitely go back again.

The house was in a perfect location to access Stowe. Lots of rooms and beds although we did not use them all. House was very comfortable.

Spacious place in great location

We enjoyed our stay in this house in the woods. There are several bedrooms to accommodate several people. We enjoyed the deck, fireplace and BBQ grill.

Mountain Getaway

Everything about the place was excellent and matched the listing. Well stocked kitchen pots, pans, and utensils was a plus. Only minor inconvenience was figuring out the Sauna. We needed to put down towels and cover cracks letting in cold air so it would properly heat up. Once we figured it out, it was great. I would stay here again.

Great Stay

Stowe is a wonderful place to visit. I highly recommend staying with Mark. He was highly responsive especially when certain aspects were not where they should have been. I think his Vrbo listing was accurate and true to the property. Mark even provided various recommendations to visit to make the stay that much better. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Stowe, even if we were a bit pre peak

Three couples who have been friends for 50 years enjoyed thoroughly our stay at Mark’s place. It can be a bit challenging to find in the dark, so I’d suggest checking in by dusk at latest.

Perfect Location

Loved that it was midway between the town and mountain. House had a well equipped and spacious kitchen. The road leading to the house is steep. I am glad that we had four wheel drive. Highly recommend this house!

One of the best houses I've stayed at in Stowe

House was everything you could ask for. House was fully stocked with everything you could need, outside of your personal items. Located on a very quiet road, short drive from everything Stowe has to offer. Marks communication was the best I've experienced, with responses withing hours. Easy check in/out. Hot tub was a huge hit, and very easy to access. Thank you again Mark, you will be sure to have my business again.

Great location

This is a great location close to the mountain that made it a quick 10-15 minute drive in the morning on a busy ski weekend. Skipped right over the traffic we typically hit when we stay just a mile or two closer to town. The house is well stocked with plenty of linens and some of the things that other rentals don't have such as spices in the kitchen, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent. The bedding was even newer than what is shown in the pictures, and Mark was very responsive before and during the stay to any questions we had. Previous reviews mentioned chipmunks, which I can happily say has been completely resolved. Previous reviews also mentioned other things that were broken or non-functional and this was not our experience - those were all resolved as well. It's not a brand new house and sure could use some upgrades, but for the size, location, and price it was great.

It was not really near anything that we could get to unless we drove. There was 8 of us (all sister) 7 of us were older then 62 and two had walkers so it was hard. We did have laughs. One restaurant would not take us because they only allow parties of 6 which to me is very wrong .

Best stocked house ever!!!!

I have booking vacations for years with homeaway/vrbo. I must say, our stay was the most enjoyable to date. The house was so well stocked with every item you can possibly imagine. This made our visit so much easier when visiting the grocery store. The house was very roomy, enjoyed the back deck with friends playing card games and when they retired early, my husband and I went down to the viewing room without disturbing any quests that were upstairs. I would highly recommend to stay here. Before our arrival Mark reached out and left voicemails that there was an issue with the house, but by the time we arrived it was already taken care of. The garage was great to park our 4 motorcycles out of the weather. Thanks Mark for a memorable vacation.

Nice stay, but minor issues

The place is very nice and comfortable. The hot tub was not warmed up for our arrival, and had to run over night to get up to temp. The outdoor fire pit and chairs were not setup like in the photos. Not sure where they were stored. It looked like the cleaners forgot to finish cleaning the primary bathroom. There were used soaps and a rag was left behind. We had not received the code for the lockbox containing the key for house before our arrival, I had to call the host for the code. He also did not respond to messages, only my phone call.

4th of July in Stowe

We had an amazing stay at Mark’s house! Plenty of space for two families for the weekend which included 5 adults and 4 kids. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The location is prime - easy drive to restaurants/shops or to the mountain. The house is in a quiet neighborhood which was a bonus. We would definitely come back!
