Ellen was extremely responsive, and had small details ready for our stay that we didn’t even know we needed! It felt like a home away from home with views of the birdfeeders and thoughtful Vermont dedicated art.
Beautiful big windows! Cozy space. 3 mins drive to Suggs. Beautiful view. Ellen is very accommodating.

This place was quiet and special. The Pondhouse had just about everything you would have at home. Clean, cozy and awesome views. Less than 10 min drive to Smuggers Notch. Ellen the host was sweet, accommodating and communicated quickly to my questions. I definitely would stay again. .
We really enjoyed our stay at the Pondhouse. The view was beautiful, it was quiet, clean, and very relaxing. Ellen was a great host! Everything was exactly as pictured. Would highly recommend.
This studio cottage is adorable! The setting is stunning and Ellen is such a great host. The photos in VRBO don’t do the place justice. It’s spacious and open and served as a quiet backdrop for our busy five days. I can’t recommend the Pondhouse enough! I would definitely love to return to my new Vermont home!
This space is truly extraordinary. The property is beautiful and so very peaceful. Everything you could need has been considered. Ellen is a true steward of the property and it shows. She is warm, thoughtful, and a great communicator. We cannot wait until we have a chance to go back!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Pond House. Ideal location for hiking and exploring the area. Ellen is the most gracious host. A relaxing retreat!
Ellen was great and our stay at the cottage was very pleasant. It had everything we needed and was very cozy and comfortable. The WiFi was occasionally slow at random, but overall no problems at all.

The space was clean and nicely appointed, and the view was beautiful. The property was private but provided good access to the surrounding towns.
The Pond House is a great place to stay while exploring the Jeffersonville/Stowe area of Vermont. The house is well stocked and comfortably furnished for all your needs. The grounds are beautiful, with perennial flower gardens, outdoor seating, and a pond. It is serene and private with a mountain view. Ellen, the host, is friendly and communicates very well. We would definitely stay again if we return to the area. Highly recommend!
Our host Ellen was amazing. Ellen made a point to check in and meet us and ask if we needed anything. The area is stunning and the house is beautiful, much more than I expected from the listing.
We had a wonderful time at Ellen’s place. Very cozy and private. There are lots of things to do within a short drive. Beautiful space, very clean, great communication with the host. 5 stars all around.
We loved staying at this home in Jeffersonville. If you like a peaceful and quiet place to stay, this is the place. Ellen was so helpful and responsive. We are so grateful for staying there for our honeymoon. Thank you again Ellen!
The property provides a wonderful base from which to explore Northern VT. The garden is beautiful and the views from the property are inspiring.
Ellen is a kind and thoughtful host and went above and beyond expectations to make our stay fantastic.
We loved our stay at The Pondhouse, and we love the host. The space is lovely -- it feels like home. The host provides everything you need. And the view of the pond and grounds is spectacular. If you're looking for quiet and calm with a beautiful view, this is it.
We had such an amazing stay at Ellen's place! She is amazing, so accommodating and helpful. Her place is gorgeous and so peaceful. The studio was beautiful with everything you need to relax and unwind. We loved our time there and will definitely be back again. Thank you Ellen, it was a dream!
This was an amazing property tucked away in the Green Mountains within minutes of Smuggler's Notch. The property is absolutely beautiful with everything we needed for a one week stay. The owner was friendly and responsive to our needs. This is a wonderful property which my wife and I highly recommend.

This property was beautiful and Ellen was very kind and welcoming. She lives on the property so it was very easy to reach her, she gave us her cell number too in case we needed anything. It is a large space with a large bathroom and a fully stocked kitchen (this was nice because we hosted our parents for dinner) and it had everything we needed. It was super clean as well and very quiet. A wonderful spot for a peaceful retreat.
Thank you for such a beautiful place to stay in Vermont. The Pond House was perfect in every way and beyond out expectations. Ellen was so kind and helpful and suggested wonderful hikes. My only wish is that we had a few more days to stay and explore this beautiful area. We will be back. Thank you Ellen for making our Vermont experience perfect.
This is a great place to stay. Close to Stowe, Smugglers Notch, and many local villages and attractions. Clean and nicely appointed, comfortable bed and lots of cooking tools (I love to cook a lot, we only eat out once or twice when we come up). The big front windows overlook the little pond and the beautiful grounds, and we can see the sun come up over the cloud shrouded mountaintops most mornings. It’s lovely. Ellen is a wonderful host and is just a message away if we need anything. We love Ellen!!
My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Pondhouse. Ellen was a very gracious hostess, and was especially kind to help us when we experienced a flat tire (she hooked us up with a local repair shop, and drove us to purchase groceries during the repair.)
The property was beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of space to walk our dog on the property itself, and on the adjacent road.
The location was perfect, with easy access for family wedding activities at Jeffersonville, Smuggler’s Notch, and Stowe.
Highly recommend!!
