Love this property, very welcoming staff and well looked after room. Fabulous views and very peaceful and quiet. Definitely only worth a night stay as there isn’t much around and very limited food options. The restaurant was lovely and service was great! The breakfast hamper was perfect!

At the time of our stay they were renovating the verandahs the staff contacted myself to arrange different rooms. we were moved from our original room n upgraded to 2 separate rooms which we didn't mind. The young fella at the office was absolutely amazing extremely knowledgeable of Tassie and very helpful! The restaurant was beautiful but we aren't big seafood fans. Just stop in for a few drinks :-) Highly recommend this place if your going on the train or ferry. Look forward to visiting again when the renos are complete to see the changes.

Nice sunset location.

We were there for one night and experienced a stunning sunset exactly like their picture. The location is excellent and the restaurant seems to be one of the best in Strahan. The best meal we had in Tasmania. They delivered a breakfast to our room as the restaurant isn't doing breakfast at present, but it was pleasant. There is a nice short bushwalk across the road, worth doing.

Definitely the best place to stay and to dine. Whilst you should not expect a 5 star room the accomodation is well presented and the location is wonderful. Close to walking trails and the waterfront location is superb. The food options are many, even on the set menus nights so don’t be out off by that. The very well presented and perfectly cooked food on offer was our best dining experience in the north western end of Tasmania. The staff are warm, friendly and knowledgable from the check in/out process to the ability to match wine selection to complement your dinner. Second to none in Strahan and the north west of Tasmania.
