My granddaughter and I stayed at the delightful Hawthorne cottage for one night. The hostess and her family were so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was outstanding and our room perfectly appointed. I highly recommend it.

I had a fantastic stay at this bed and breakfast! The hosts were incredibly accommodating, the food was delicious, and the room was cozy and well-appointed. The location was ideal, as anywhere we wanted to go was just a short, pleasant walk away. Strongly recommend!

The house was cozy and spotlessly clean, and the gardens around the house were gorgeous. Our hosts were so personable and attentive. The breakfasts were very tasty, and the presentation made us feel so special. The only thing that potential guests should know is that the staircase to the guest suite is very narrow and a bit steep. The elderly should know this before booking.

Lovely Experience, very walkable!

I decided to take my 17-year-old daughter on a little weekend getaway, her first bed and breakfast experience. The room is well-appointed and we felt well looked after by our hosts. The breakfasts were fresh and delish. We would definitely recommend folks stay there who are looking for a quality b&b experience. The location was an easy, flat 10-15 minute walk from the Avon Theatre and lots of restaurants and boutiques.

Overnight stay in Stratford

This was a great place for our overnight stay in Stratford. It was much nicer than staying in a hotel. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The room was very spacious and beautifully kept. It was very clean. The breakfast was very good.We were able to walk to the downtown area and were just a few minute walk from the Avon Theatre.We would definitely book the room again.

A comfortable and convenient B&B with excellent hosts and great breakfasts. The home and property are beautifully maintained and the hosts very friendly and helpful. Our only note is the tight flight of steps up to our room on the second floor.

We enjoyed our two-night stay at Hathaway Cottage. Our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious, and the hosts were kind and helpful. The property was convenient to shopping, restaurants, and the theaters. Our only regret is that we didn’t have more time to interact with the friendly house dog Nyla. Great stay.

My adult daughter and I had a lovely 2 night stay at Hathaways Cottage. The room was beautifully appointed and comfortable. The breakfasts were delightful, freshly prepared each morning. Rachelle, Kevin, Olivia and Nyah were friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts. We loved the proximity to the Avon Theatre, walking to and from there each night to see the shows.As we are rather private reserved people however, perhaps we shouldn't have chosen a B and B for our stay. There was a dining and sitting area separate from our bedroom that we chose not to use. We had expected a microwave in our room, which was not the case.We would stay at Hathaways again, as we loved the location and the cottage itself. We suspect the gardens are stunning in the warmer weather.

This beautiful property is within walking distance of downtown, theatres, shops, and restaurants. We had excellent communication with the owners, Rachelle and Kevin. They were both very kind and friendly. Our space was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was very good. I would recommend this place to anyone!
