This hotel location is central and only one block from the lake /park. Walking distance to Theatre is between 20-30 minutes. Restaurants are readily nearby. The hotel has no bellman service, while there is an elevator available, some rooms like our corner King room located on second floor has to accessed by another set of stairs. The room is furnished sparingly, with typical older houses’s thin walls that lacks of soundproofing. The hotel is a boutique hotel suitable for centrally located quick short stay.

The rooms were very clean, the mattress was excellent and overall the interior is clean looking, modern and cozy. Very competitively priced, friendly helpful staff, will book early again next season to ensure there is availability. The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. I had one of the budget rooms and was still trated like royalty. The room was spartan, but beautifully decorated and there was obvious care taken in how the room was laid out. Should I find myself in Stratford again I will certainly stay here again, only I would splurge a little on a larger room next time knowing that it would be well worth it. Excellent job!

The Windsor Hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We were in the apartment. My children/grandchildren were in 2 other suites. Our room because a great gathering area for meals and family fun. Though the rooms might use a little up grade, everything was clean and working. Would definitely return.

The renewed Windsor Hotel is a gem in the heart of Stratford. Walking distance to the Avon, to restaurants and shops, yummy continental breakfast included in the room. The room itself was a night and day experience from the last time i was here in 2018. An excellent rebirth of a longstanding hotel in the city.

Great location in the middle of Stratford. Very clean, lots of character, just the historical bathtub in the room could be reglazed. The choice for breakfasts was not huge but everything was fresh and tasty. We tried their restaurant for dinner and everything was good and priced reasonably with 10% discount for hotel guests. If you look for free parking, Cooper lot is about 5 minutes walk.
