Open Fire and Spa Bath Indulgent and Luxury Villa

Villa Java is a unique and a very special place to stay if you are wanting a relaxing get away to recharge your energy. It is centrally located in the township of Strathalbyn with only a very short walk to the famous High Street where you will find antique shops and some great places for lunch or for just a coffee. The open fire and 2 person spa bath will enable you to wind down and recharge. Bring along your pet to make your experience even more satisfying and stressful knowing that your pet is holidaying with you and your pet will have access to a secure courtyard.
It is ideal for couples with a King bed,there is also an additional day bed for an additional guest or children. There is a full kitchen with gas stove, oven, dishwasher and full fridge. Laundry facilities are available for guests to use so if you are planning a longer stay this is a great convenience.

The property is situated in a small private road five minutes to the local town where all your needs are easy to get to very friendly nice places to eat and drink. The property itself is very well presented it's got all the facilities you rneed require to have a lovely stay

Relaxing Stay

I had a wonderful time. The hosts were warm and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was cozy and peaceful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I loved relaxing in the beautiful hot tub. The location was perfect—quiet but still close to everything I wanted to see. It was the perfect spot to unwind, and I’m already looking forward to returning!

Highly Recommend Villa Java

What a wonderful place! We have enjoyed every minute of our stay at Villa Java. The set out is spacious and had everything we needed. Becky was always quick to reply. The spa bath made it an extra special experience. We will definitely be back!

Great place for a weekend away

Clean well equipped and comfortable accommodation located centrally and close to lovely walking trails along the river. Check in information and address was provided on day of check-in, which seems a little late. Owner was very responsive. Would recommend.

Perfect escape

A beautifully setup cottage, much larger than expected - the photos don’t do justice to just how lovely the entire place is. Plus two fireplaces with wood supplied, kept us toasty! Host was thoughtful with kitchen supplies and caring communication. Loved the weekend there & so did my little pup, highly recommend!

A spacious apartment with a lovely deck at the back and a large out door area for us to store our bikes. Great coffee machine for coffee lovers but perhaps some more crockery and cutlery would be beneficial. The location was ideal for bike riding and the town was easily accessed by walking.

The location was excellent however the spa bath only has cold water. Very disappointed that it’s advertised as a selling point but you can’t use it. Check in and communication was good. Secure courtyard/garden for my dog.

Cosy Perfection

Villa Java exceeded our expectations. It is a spacious, luxurious space with beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The king sized bed, fireplaces and spa bath are wonderful. As our babysitting option fell through at the last minute, we needed to bring our 2 and 5 year old daughters. Becky was flexible and easy going about this change. There was enough space for our family to fit comfortably and the girls loved “swimming” in the massive tub. We definitely intend to return!

Finding an excuse to go back and stay again

My expectations of the accommodation were exceeded. It has everything and more that you could possibly need to enjoy a relaxing stay. Even more surprised to see a fresh loaf of bread in the kitchen on arrival with Adelaide jam. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a coffee machine. The bed was comfortable and the property overall was spacious and tidy. Made to feel right at home. The only con was that the bath did not have running water. I was looking forward to having a bath during my stay and was disappointed when I went to run a bath and not a drop came out. I noticed many reviews mention this issue so assume there’s been a problem for a while.

An absolute gem of a place in a beautiful location

Java Villa is simply gorgeous, it’s a beautiful old building with high ceilings & is a very comfortable place to stay. The bed was really comfortable, the kitchen had everything including a fabulous coffee machine which was all ready to go filled with coffee beans. The owner left us sour dough bread, butter, jam & milk which we were very grateful for. The location is great, it’s a lovely walk into the pretty little town of Strathalbyn. Good communication with the owner who too. ,We will definitely stay again.
