"John Day sits about 80 miles from the nearest city of any size. It has limited overnight choices. The Best Western, while nice, costs the same as the Best Western at Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris. This is John Day, folks. Dreamers Lodge, while not the newest or fanciest motel, is very nice, clean, safe, easily located, walking distance to restaurants AND reasonably priced. This is our choice every time.

"We absolutely loved our stay at this charming house in Prairie City. The home was spotless, inviting, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we all slept so well. The location was peaceful yet convenient, making it easy to enjoy the area. The hosts were friendly and responsive, which made the entire experience even better. We would happily stay here again!"

"This is a very cute, clean and well appointed apartment. It's very quiet here at all hours. Great location for walking to local restaurants. The only thing to note, there was no internet, however, it didn’t cause us any issues, we were fine without it. "
