Stopped here for a quick night while driving cross country. Easy on and off I-80… older motel, family run, outside looks sketchy but the inside has been nicely maintained. Peaceful. Reminded me of my great-grandparent's 1920s era home I used to visit, though with modern conveniences. Well-appointed. Pleasant, short walk to the town square. Enjoyable stay at reasonable cost. When back in Winterset will try to book again.
