This charming property offers a unique coastal experience that you won't find anywhere else.

Situated across the road from the river, Little River Cottage sits in the sleepy town of Stuarts Point on the North Coast, the Macleay Valley of NSW.
Stuarts Point is a hidden gem that seems frozen in time. This tranquil coastal town, reminiscent of the seventies, is a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. With its rustic beach shacks and absence of nightclubs, it's the perfect place to unwind and escape the daily grind.

Our backyard is fenced, gated, and secure. You will have room to accommodate your car and boat and still have room to enjoy the backyard.

There are two main bedrooms, plus a sleep-out/ daybed area at the end of the loungeroom ( open to the loungeroom).

Our property boasts a wealth of entertaining spaces, perfect for your group or solitary relaxation. From the spacious enclosed deck to the inviting outdoor deck, the front verandah relaxation area, and the expansive yard, there's a spot for everyone to enjoy.

WHAT TO BRING: This property is BYO linen, towels, and any washables.
We supply Blankets and pillows. Linen can be provided by arrangement at $35 pp per stay.

2 X KING SINGLES ( queen bed sheets will work, but singles are too small)
1 x DOUBLE BED

No extra people, parties, gatherings, weddings or functions are allowed.

From the front door, there are many lovely walks to do.
For the avid fisherman, our location is a dream come true. While we can't reveal the best spots, we assure you you'll have a blast fishing in the area.
Whether you fish from the walkway, the river bank, or the ocean, go upriver to find your spot. Use a kayak or boat. You will have a great time fishing and crabbing.
It's important to note that in NSW, a fishing license is required. You can easily purchase one from the nearby corner store, just a short walk from the cottage. This ensures you can enjoy your fishing activities without any worries about compliance with local regulations.
There are many national and coastal parks to explore in this pristine area of NSW.
If, for any reason, we allow a campervan, caravan or tent, each person becomes a guest, and charges will apply.

Very comfortable little cottage!

Little River Cottage is a great find, a very comfortable and clean cottage right across from the river and 7 mins walk to the beach, best of both worlds. From the bridge you can see the fish and sting rays below and enjoy the sunrise and sunsets reflecting on the water. The cottage is well equiped and has everything you need for a great stay.

Perect place to relax

We love coming to this property. The location is perfect for fishing, yabbying and kayaking. The verandah is our favourite spot to sit and enjoy the ocean breeze when we are not out enjoying the river or the beach.The house is perfect for relaxing, the beds are comfortable and we love the location to the water and the local shops. It has everything we need. The hosts are amazing and have proved to be responsive to any concerns we have. We will be back again and again.

Great Little cottage

Great location to river and beach. Close to other beaches and towns ( Nambucca Heads and South West Rocks). Quiet sleepy town. Great to get away and relax.

The best location

Little River Cottage is perfectly located. Close to shops but far enough away not to impact on your stay. Easy access to the park and bridge being opposite the path leading down to the bridge. I highly recommend this house.

Great Location

Great location with the river just over the road and a short walk to the beach. Toni was great to deal with and quick replies to our many questions. The house was very comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Great beds too. Thank you Toni for our little visit.

Xmas Holidays

LRC was the perfect place to unwind, quite & relaxing. House was cosy, comfortable, clean & tidy & fully equipped. Toni, the Property Manager went way beyond normal to ensure we had an enjoyable holiday with all the little extras she provided. Our fur babies also loved their holiday & well catered for. Overall very happy with all aspects of our stay from the property location and property managerrty

I would not hesitate to recommend the property even though the renovations are yet not complete but in saying that we were not short on anything and we felt right at home and the stay was very comfortable but what really sold us on our stay was totally on the property manager she was fantastic and very helpful and between the lovely home and the dedicated helpful property manager I would highly recommend this place for your next holiday. My family and I will definitely be going back.

Good location but not clean

While the location was good and communication was fine, the condition of the property was very disappointing on arrival. We had to clean the kitchen before we could even prepare a meal. The benches were covered in grime and stickiness. There were cockroaches, and the oven was unusuable in it's current state. Really quite terrible considering we were paying so much for the property and then there was a cleaning fee on top of it.

We found this place to be just what we needed to relax, a great little community and you really don't need to leave Stuarts Point if you don't want too, everything is only a few doors away. We found the house to be comfortable and met our needs, our little dog enjoyed laying on the decks and exploring the area, we would love to go back.
