This is not a high end property so my expectations are relative to this situation. It was clean and smelled fresh. There was an indoor pool, spa, and sauna. Everything in the room was functional. They may want to consider accommodations for handicap people, like a higher toilet and a lower bed mattress. This is easier for people that have walking issues.

Great room at a great price

One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at recently. My room, including the bathroom, was immaculately clean and well maintained. The common areas were just as well cared for. I’m going to look for AmericInns whenever I travel. I can’t think of a thing to improve.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was super friendly! We enjoyed the updates and pool area. My only complaint is that the breakfast could have been better but it was complimentary so it’s not like you’re getting 5-star restaurant food. The location is convenient for all of the Door County activities, you’re not shoved into the chaos but still close enough to do things!

The good: Constant fan feature which is always important to me. The front desk worker was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean. The bad: it’s dated. They were not prepared for breakfast (ran out of plates and food) there needs to be another layer of bedding. All and all not terrible. The breakfast situation kinda ruined it on our way out.
