R&S Lakeside Cottage Beautiful Large Sand Beach Door County Limestone Fireplace

Our Cottage is only 10 minutes from downtown Sturgeon Bay and yet offers the Cozy atmosphere of a recently blacktopped one lane rustic road and friendly neighbors. Our Sand beach is Awesome, Great for those morning walks to watch the sunrise with your pet and when the full Moon rises at dusk . This area has been a favorite for tourists for almost 100 years and they keep coming back sometimes permanently. A short walk to to the pierhead Lighthouse and just down the road from The Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal Land Trust hiking area with excellent walking trails. Pet friendly with 2 bedrooms with queen-size beds, 2 couches and a rollaway bed comfortable for 4 adults . We have Central Air conditioning and heating for year round comfort. The inside of the cottage has been completely updated keeping with the Historical character of the original Cottage using locally grown lumber whenever possible. There is wood burning fireplace for those cool nights, a screen room off the kitchen and a small front patio out front and a firepit on the beach to relax outdoors . For our security, There is a outside security camera overlooking our parking areas and back yard.

A comfortable and roomy cabin in a fantastic location. Less than 15 minutes to downtown Sturgeon Bay. The beach is wonderful.

We had the most lovely and cozy stay at this cabin. Super clean. Beautifully decorated. Ideal for staying in or going out. It was truly one of the most magical vacations we have ever had.

This lake house is spacious, but warm and inviting, The internet pictures don't do it justice. The back yard is large with a cute gazebo if you want to eat lunch outside. The screen porch is is perfect if your dog enjoys being outside, with having to be tied up. I will gladly recommend this home to anyone who wants Lake Michigan just steps away.

The cabin was clean and in a picturesque setting that was remote, yet close to everything. It first appealed to us for the one-floor living. No stairs. We are three seniors, so that’s a big plus. Cabin is very well equipped and decor is whimsical and nautical. Our host was very prompt to reply to any questions, and provided more than what we expect for a stay. We will recommend this to others!

Sturgeon Bay Lake Michigan Cabin Stay

We had an awesome and relaxing time on the property and adjacent beach and Land Trust Park. We enjoyed the traditional theme of the cabin and all the amenities provided. We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed the quiet and picturesque setting.

Great place on a great lake

We love this place so much this is our 3rd stay here. It is clean, cozy, quiet, comfortable and has amazing views of the lake! It is the perfect place to unwind and get some "lake therapy."

Great location

Spectacular location, right on pristine and very private walkable beach. Firepit on beach and great wood burning fireplace, all set up and ready to go. Cabin is updated and very nice. Pictures don't do justice as to how clean, comfortable and nice it is. The host, Russ, was very accommodating and responsive.

Great lakeside cabin

Great cabin with the beach right across the street. Saw the Northern Lights on our visit and plenty of stars at night. Quiet location and good for a chance to rest and relax!

Beautiful views and beach

Great place to stay. Everything we needed, comfortable, clean and amazing views out the front window. We enjoyed having meals or coffee at the table by the front window that looks out to the beach or taking a walk along the shore and enjoying the views. Nice front and back yard area for us and our dog too.

Perfect Cabin

Wish I was the owner of this property. Absolutely lovely quiet street it's on with the most amazing beach this side of the lake. Honestly everything about it was perfect.

Awesome location and cabin

Loved staying at this very comfortable cabin. The fully screened in porch is great for escaping the bugs. The beach a few steps away, very friendly hosts, quiet neighborhood. Still close to all the other attractions of Door County. Definitely staying here again.

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful visit. The view from the cottage couldn't be better and we took daily beach walks right outside. Everything was clean. I highly recommend staying if you want a quiet beachside vacation.

Great Place to Relax and Explore

This place was fantastic. Perfect for a long weekend getaway. The location is great - unencumbered views of Lake Michigan with about a mile of unpopulated beach for my wife, my dog and me to explore. The cottage was clean and well equipped. Highly recommend this place for a long weekend getaway. Thanks for a great time Russ and Stacy!!!

First Stay in Door County WI

Our family of four rented this wonderful cabin for our first trip to Door County. The property was comfortable, clean, charming, and the location/ view were amazing. The owners made us feel very welcome and they thought of every detail- right down to dry firewood for the beach fire pit. We will be back!

New Year getaway

We loved the place cabin and the view. House is very cozy and we had amazing time. Morning view from the front of the lake is very relaxing. The bonefire at the beach great. Also pets freindly is a thanks you my dog had a blast. We are definitely coming back during summer to experience more of the area aslo to spent good time at the cabin.
