Be well prepared before the stay.

The caretaker was nice enough to offer us a pan and some salt for cooking although these stuff should have been available in the room anyway. There was no hair blower in bath room. The curtain on the windows couldn't even block the light and made it difficult to continue sleeping in the morning. The information given prior to arrival was wrong and it was embarrassing to knock the door of other guests when looking for caretaker. The good thing is that there is a playground just down the house which is very good for children.

Room was very spacious but not clean. Shower had no curtain or doors so had to clean water up after use. Kitchen sink had hair in it, shower drain so full of hair it would drain and backed up gunk all over your feet. Glad only had one night there.

Unacceptable dirty apartment

I have never experienced that dirty and filthy and grease dirt apartment, looks like never being clean it up .we complain this to the management he just said sorry but do nothing, we have to do all the clean up

The rooms and bathroom are in downstairs through a very narrow staircase. The bathroom stinks and make the whole area including the rooms stinks. It’s smells like sewage backups. The window cannot lock and keep dropping down, making noise and very cold in the room. No hair dryer , shampoo or soap provided. With the price I paid for I wouldn’t recommend for people.

The only good thing about this place is that it is spacious for a family of 4. Otherwise, it requires a lot of updates. The apartment was managed by a caretaker who seemed like this was his summer job. Retrieving the key from the coded key box was not straight forward. Even though the contract stipulated free wifi, it was not available initially. The caretaker had to come in and change the card/modem. No body wash or shampoo was provided and when requested the care taker replied that it was not his duty. Not once were we able to communicate with the owner.

Good location - extra TLC would make a difference

Apartment was easy to find and well laid out but is in need of upkeep. Sofa/chairs all had stains. Bathroom was clean but kitchen, particularly the stove, could have been cleaner. A bit of investment/cleaning would have made things better. Lastly, the spiral staircase was a bit treacherous. It was either badly installed or has suffered but it is not level, creaks and does not feel secure. Minimal interaction with owner/renter. Matter of fact. We're just business.

A good apartment in a nice small town

We stayed here one night. We were given the code by e-mail 2 days prior as promised. There was also a caretaker on site which was good because we couldn't figure out how to lock the door (not used to this particular European design). The apartment was a good size and the kitchen was good. We went to the local supermarket and collected provisions. Across the road from the supermarket is what looks like a hardware store (and is) but it is also the bottle shop where we got a good wine for a good price. The only thing we didn't like was the steep spiral staircase that creaked when you used it.

No hair dryer, shampoo or hair gel

The apartment was nice BUT there was no hair dryer, shower gel or shampoo. When I called the caretaker the first suggestion she gave was for my wife to use hand soap for her hair and that there were never any hair dryers there. It was all resolved but shouldn’t really come up to begin with.

Great apartment, but beware of late night arrivals

A very spacious, well fitted apartment. We found everything that we wanted at Our Home Apartments. The thing that we did not appreciate was that at 11pm the Caretaker arrived and tried to put another traveller in the bedroom we were not using! We asked them to leave, which they did - the Caretaker claimed that it was the owner who instructed her.

Nice apartment but bathroom downstairs

We arrived and were pleased to find a nice warm welcoming unit--the bedroom was barely big enough for the double bed but we slept great. The kitchen was well equipped, and the grocery is near, and the pool is across the street. However the bathroom is down the spiral staircase, with the laundry room, so if stairs are an issue for you this isn't the place. We had a bit of trouble figuring out the settings right on the wash & dry cycles, with the clothes still damp after over an hour and half and a dozen or so trips up and down the stairs because the dryer kept stopping...cute town.

Op de foto lijkt het appartement aan de kust te liggen maar dat is niet zo. Bij de voordeur heb je zicht op zee. Niet vanuit het appartement. Keukeninrichting is oud. Vanuit de zitkamer met spiltrap naar beneden. Beneden twee slaapkamers. Een ruime kamer en de andere kamer is klein met een slecht bed. Goed voor een overnachting op de doorreis.

Hostel level at full service hotel prices

Absolutely not worth the price. Beds were old and too soft. Hardware in shower was broken and noisey bathroom vent couldn't be shut off. Worn out furniture in kitchen, dining, living area. Bedrooms on lower level with a tight spiral staircase so we left the suitcases upstairs - not that there was enough room for a suitcase in the bedroom anyway....

Two story condo. It was clean, and for a solo traveler, definitely spacious. Fully equipped kitchen and dining table, sofa, TV, balcony, wifi, and parking right outside the unit. Bed and other furniture are bit outdated. Bed was very cushy (not firm). Overall, it was good and I would stay again, especially if I come back with a group.
