flexy.motel Spielberg
10/10 Excellent
"I had a great stay at Flexy Motel in Spielberg. What impressed me most was how easy everything was. The booking process was simple, and the self-check-in took only a few seconds. I was inside my room almost immediately. The room was comfortable, functional, and very clean. The bathroom was spacious and included a nice bathtub. The portable air conditioner was especially appreciated, as it helped a lot during the hot weather. Everything was well prepared and spotless upon arrival. There was no staff on site, but the entire process was so smooth and well organized that I never needed assistance. The autonomous concept worked perfectly. My only suggestion for improvement would be better facilities for cyclists. The motel is located along popular cycling routes, and I imagine many guests stay here while traveling by bicycle. However, there was only a small bicycle parking area with limited capacity, and I ended up having to lock my bike to a post on the street. Overall, an excellent and convenient place to stay. I would happily stay here again."

JUFA Hotel Murau
8/10 Good
"Beautiful setting! We kept saying “wow” over and over! Staff was very helpful despite a slight language barrier. Rooms were very basic-small (but reasonable considering all European hotels have small rooms) very clean. We were there during an intense heat wave and not used to not having AC, the room was miserably hot but the staff found us two fans that we were able to use during our stay. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend walking around, but be aware that hours for local businesses varies with some being closed for hours at a time. There’s a few SPARs (groc), BIPA (pharmacy type stuff… think shampoo, diapers, first aide) and then Billa (groc) but they were all closed on Sunday. Hotel Lecher is an awesome dinner place- great food, and service staff were able to speak English. Check out the local beer gardens as well."

Boutique-Hotel LiebesNesterl Bergwirt
8/10 Good
"Lovely and scenic alpine retreat with friendly hosts. Dinner and breakfast were wholesome with a good variety and huge portions for the hungry."

JUFA Hotel Stift Gurk
10/10 Excellent
"This is such a unique hotel! It is a fully renovated building which is part of the old monastery. The rooms are very spacious, clean and nicely done with simplicity and elegance. Great clean bathroom and separate toilet within the room. The property is set in a small village and surrounded by nature. They even have the canopy walk for kids and adults by the property but it wasn't operational this early in June. We stayed one night and enjoyed it. Even the breakfast which is included in was great. If you like to immerse yourself to a quiet place this is definitely a great spot to pick. This hotel is family friendly. We would stay longer but we had to move forward with our travel plans. We would definitely stay again and we recommend this hotel."

Hotel Restaurant Perschler
8/10 Good
"The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view over the fields and town of Zeltweg, to the mountains in the distance. The staff were polite and the breakfast was excellent as was the food in the restaurant. I would have given this hotel five stars, however contacting anyone "after hours" was extremely difficult. My key card stopped working, unfortunately on a Tuesday night when the restaurant is closed. I came back from dinner at 8:30 pm and found the reception was closed and I could not get hold of anyone to fix the key card or let me into my room. The telephone numbers provided did not work and there was no bell push or button at reception to call anyone. Fortunately, after two hours of trying to get hold of someone on the phone, another guest tried sending a message on Whatsapp and that managed to get the owner to come and fix the keycard problem. That was really not acceptable and spoiled an otherwise excellent stay."

CHALET CHESETTA Mountain cabin—dogs welcome—at 1,600 m, with a sauna, hot tub, balcony...
10/10 Excellent

8/10 Good
"The room was comfy and large. The location and the view from the room was great. The breakfast was good. The only issue was that there was mold in the fridge."
