"The breakfast is really good that shows the dedication of the hosts.
Recommendations: a scale may be helpful for long distance visitors to check the luggage weight."

"Very homely minsu with a superb breakfast the traditional Taiwanese way. Room was big and comfortable with fabulous sheets- bed size was king size for us in the quadruple room. We stayed for 5 nights and used it as a base for travelling around Yilan. The lobby was as well comfortable with an indoor playground with ball pits for kids.
Dining area perfect for at night supper with friends and family for those traveling in a group. What to take note is that the receptionist goes off at 8 pm with no...

"I was cycling around Taiwan and stayed at vanilla sky. The owners were very attentive and helpful. They really ensured I had a good stay during a quiet time. "

"The stay was clean and owner was very friendly, despite some unforeseen delays to our itinerary. The owner saw to our late check in. The entire stay was very digitally-equipped. My parents and I enjoyed the breakfast prepared by the owner as well.
Would be driving a TESLA the next time I visit Yilan, yup owner provides Tesla charging!!! "

"We've got the harbor view and mountain view on the 12th floor. We love the hot spring, but wouldn't dare to soak in the cold spring for too long. The hotel room, staff and the food were all very good!"
"This hotel is family friendly, kids had great time here. They loved DIY pizza activity, and actually tasted really good. The game room, spa pool and library, kids didn’t get bored here. They also love the room setting.
The breakfast buffet was excellent with variety of foods. They also provided afternoon and night snacks. We will definitely come back again."
"The male hotel manager on duty the night we check in was amazing, his service was outstanding. He changed our room for us when we requested for a different floor and even helped us with our luggage. The room was comfortable and had a tent for the children to play / sleep in. My 2 boys had a blast riding their bikes along the corridor and parking them right in front of our room. It might get a little noisy with all the kids driving around but it was really one of a kind experience and super fun for the kids. The hotel is also connected to a shopping mall and hotel guests are able to book movie tickets for free as long as there are available seats in the cinema! Unique hotel and wonderful staff! A big thank you!"
"nice in room hot spring water to a generous 2 people tub.
A/C is great,
precheckin tea and snacks was nice. could use a in-hotel bar.
wife loved the rooftop public bath for women, I did not try mens side as i was content with inroom soaking."
"The hotel is fine for a short stay, it’s ten minutes walk from bus/train station. Seems more geared at tourist groups on tours I think. No real facilities to use and the breakfast was poor with next to no fruit etc
Communication difficult if non mandarin speaker "
"The room was stylish and incredibly clean. I was especially impressed by how spotless the bathroom was—it’s always a huge plus when the facilities are that well-maintained.
Although I arrived late and didn't get a chance to use it, the common area looked very cozy with comfy sofas, a large TV, and even some games.
The cafe downstairs opens early and serves an amazing, hearty breakfast. It was perfect for me as an early-bird cyclist. Most hostels in Taiwan start breakfast at 8:00 AM, so this place is great if you need to hit the road early!
