Immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of bygone eras with our charming cottage, which likely dates back to around 1800. A former worker's cottage on the Dollrott estate, it tells tales of days gone by and offers an authentic experience amidst unspoiled nature.
The "Kate am Barkenhof" sits on a spacious plot of approximately 1,000 m², surrounded by expansive meadows and farmland that once belonged to the estate. This lovingly preserved cottage offers 62 m² of living space, but feels more like 100 m². Here, you'll experience rustic charm combined with timeless comfort.
The holiday home comprises two bedrooms, a living/dining room with an open fireplace, a small kitchen, and a small shower room. Our little cottage captivates with its rustic charm: small windows, old Frisian tiles, and low ceilings, at just under 2 meters, and even lower in some places where the ceiling beams are located.
On the southwest side, the garden borders a neighboring property with a small, manor-style house. Two parking spaces for the cottage are located in a shared area. The total area of ​​these two detached houses is an impressive 1 hectare.
The gently rolling landscape with its small, winding roads lends the surroundings a charming character, reminiscent in places of idyllic English countryside. Welcome to a retreat for those seeking peace and quiet, nature lovers, and romantics who cherish solitude but also appreciate having the bakery just around the corner!
