STARRY NIGHTS BARN: 



Designed with couples in mind, Starry Nights is an open-loft barn retreat where romance meets rustic charm. A suspended king bed, soft shimmering lights, and soaring ceilings create a space that feels both intimate and unforgettable.

It’s cozy, unique, and perfect for two — yet flexible enough for a small family getaway.

This is an open loft layout, meaning the hanging king bed, fully stocked kitchen, and dining area share one beautifully designed space. The result feels airy, warm, and intentionally simple.

Additional sleeping includes:

• A cargo net hammock loft (a huge hit with kids)

• An oversized single couch

• A single twin bed in the lower stairwell area (not suitable for a child)

Ideal occupancy: 2 adults + 1–2 children

Your unit includes:

• A private deck with hot tub

• Charcoal grill

• Easy parking right at your door (just one step inside)

Whether you're soaking under the stars or enjoying morning coffee above the pasture, this space was built for slowing down.

Starry Nights is the upper level of our barn. The lower level is a separate rental.

The only shared element is the roof.

Because this is a barn-style build, some sound transfer is possible between levels. We ask all guests to be respectful so everyone can enjoy their stay.

— 3 mi or 5 mins: Dutch Creek Horse Trail, Watauga River & Trash Can Falls (swimming hole);

— 5 mi or 10 mins: Cove Creek Store/Grill (made-to-order sandies or missed basic groceries);

— 8 mi or 15 mins: Mast General Store & Valle Crucis;

— 10 mi or 20 mins: Downtown Boone, Banner Elk Winery, Over Yonder Restaurant & Watauga Lake;

— 15+ mi or 25-30 mins: Hawsknest Tubing / Ziplines, Sugar Mountain Skiing & Boone Golf;

— 17-20 mi or 30-40 mins: Tweetsie Railroad, Blowing Rock, App Ski Mtn, Moses Cone & Tanger Outlets & Gamekeeper Restaurant;

— 20+ mi or 45 mins: Grandfather Mountain & Rough Ridge Overlook; and

— 35-45 mi or 60+ mins: Linville Falls / Linville Caverns (what a Day Trip!)

FARM/CABIN RULES, PETS, POLICIES:

— Dog Friendly. One Dog Max. 25 Pounds Max. $50/Dog. It is NOT acceptable to leave your dog alone if they are constant barkers, this would not be fair to the guests below. Have a larger or more dogs, please inquire before booking.

— Max 4 guests

— No Extra Visitors Allowed to visit the Farm other than approved guests staying in the cabin.

— No Holiday Day Arrivals or Departures.

— No Sunday Arrivals or Departures.

— Bring veggies if you want to feed the animals (no corn or sweet feed allowed).

— Winter Access: No steep inclines to and from town, but we will be 4x4 required in the event of a major snowstorm or iced over roads, please come prepared accordingly, please!

* PLEASE NOTE: There will be guests staying downstairs (a small 2-bedroom unit), but we did the best job possible of separating and segregating the two units, but noise will certainly travel. We ask that you take off your shoes, respect our pet policy, and be aware that there are guests trying to enjoy peace and quiet below you. *
