    Walk or bike just over half a mile to the charming village of Sullivan’s Island, where iconic restaurants and bars (like Poe’s Tavern) reside. Less than a mile up the road is Fort Moultrie. You can also head over the bridge to Mount Pleasant (about eight miles away), where you’ll find no shortage of shopping and dining, or go just two miles further to experience the rich history of downtown Charleston.
