"The location was the best part of the experience providing breathtaking views from the deck of the vibrant Medora landscape. Lodging in Medora is limited in the summer, and it was nice to have a place to stay that gave us more space during our weeklong visit. We knew this was an RV park, but were surprised that the neighboring motorhomes and their vehicles were only a few feet away from our window and deck. The cabin itself met our needs - after a long day exploring Medora the comfortable beds were great! The kitchen could use a supply restock and the rugs a deep clean."
"While I understand it's a tourist area, paying $300 per night should have ensured we had a closet or some type of rack to hang up clothes at the very least. With that being said, our room was clean and comfortable, with a very small bathroom sink area. It did have a very small fridge with a freezer compartment which was great for our ice packs and a small microwave. The bed was comfortable but the air conditioner was quirky and kept turning off so it would warm up, even though the temp showed a lower temp before finally kicking on and cooling us down.
The night clerk who checked us in was not the friendliest guy to be working customer service. He could use some training on how to be kind to whoever walks up and maybe not be so lazy on checking people in by assisting them, rather than requiring them to do the work.
Breakfast was meh. Watery eggs, sausage, biscuits with mediocre gravy. Choice of bagel, toast, cereal, danish. Not impressive for the price we paid.
Positives: easy parking, walking distance to downtown, pool and hot tub. Easy drive to south unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park and Medora Musical. Easy access to I-94 and Hwy 85."
"Our family's stay at the Boots cabin was great. The location was good and the cabin had everything we needed for a 3 day weekend get a way.. We would highly recommend this cabin. We will definitely stay here again . Kurt"

4/10 Poor
"There was a small amount of toilet paper in our room when we got there, had to go to the desk to get more. No cups for water or coffee maker in the room. The fawcet was very difficult to turn on in the sink. It sounded like the guest in the next room were showering in our room very early in the morning."

2/10 Terrible
"Do NOT stay here. We knew from the moment we drove up that it was questionable. Paint peeling, screens off windows, one window open with a toilet plunger in a bucket sitting in it. Walking in it didn’t get better. It smelled horrible. The room was very dated and was very in unprofessionally painted. There were paint drips on everything including the sheets, in the sink and in the bathtub. The towels were dingy. The shower curtain rod was falling off the wall. When we turned on the water it smelled like rotten eggs and the air conditioner smelled like mouse urine. The coffee pot didn’t work and had the grounds from the last guest still in it. We aren’t picky about where we stay. A clean good smelling room with all parts working is all we ask. This was not it!!"
"The host is excellent at responding to any questions. Property was very clean and comfortable. Great location in Medora. We definitely would stay here again."
"The unit was perfect for our family gathering. Extremely clean, a perfect layout, very comfortable beds, excellent hot water, all the kitchen appliances and dishes were perfect. We will stay here again and again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation experience!! The Moyer family!!"
