• Before booking your flight, check if any travel restrictions apply — in both your origin and destination. Stay informed with the latest updates by reviewing government travel advisories.
• When you pass through airport screening, do not remove your face mask. You will be asked to briefly lower it to verify your identity. Those who refuse to wear a face mask may be denied entry or boarding.
• To minimize the risk of cross-contamination, place your boarding pass on the scanner yourself and then hold it up for inspection. Do not hand your boarding pass directly to a TSA officer.
• One liquid hand sanitizer container is now permitted in your carry-on luggage. It must not be larger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll have to take it out of your bag at the X-ray machine for screening.
• Empty everything from your pockets, like your wallet, phone and small change, and place them in your carry-on rather than into bins. This will minimize handling during the screening process.
• Transport all food items in a clear plastic bag and also put them in a screening bin. Separating food from your carry-on means it's less likely a TSA officer will need to touch and open your bag for inspection.
