"We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage. It had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home, and the décor was modern, chic, and thoughtfully done. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet still walking distance to cute restaurants and a short drive to downtown Ojai. It was also a great spot for our dog, which made the trip even better. "We had a great stay at this property during our 5 night stay. Pros: Location, location, location! This property is in a great location for everything downtown. The Moxi, the Zoo, East Beach, all minutes away.We appreciated the open layout kitchen and three bedrooms that were comfy and had plenty of linens. "First, the good...the hotel is in a nice part of town. It is directly across from the marina and we enjoyed the walk along the shoreline and boardwalk. Breakfast was hot and hearty. There was a wide selection of items: yogurt, juices, fruit, eggs, chicken, cold cuts, cereal, bagels, etc. The hotel was undergoing remodeling, but it only took up a small part of the parking lot, and we still found a parking spot and it was free. The bed was bouncy, but comfy. The air conditioning was cool in the room. We appreciated the fridge in the room. The room was very spacious overall. Now our disappointments...The lights shining in our room from outside at night. Our room was near the elevator and was noisy at night. Also, the main showerhead didn't seem to work, so we had to use the spray nozzle only, and that flooded a part of the bathroom near the shower because there was no lip in the tile to keep in the water. The nozzle pointed outward and it was really hard to wash hair and body with only one hand. It would be nice if the spray nozzle could be fixed in a spot to use it as the main showerhead. Instead, it was attached at an angle and had to be held to be used. I went downstairs to ask for extra towels to clean it up, and was told they'd be sent up. They never came, so we did our best to use our used towels to sop it up. I also realized after this fiasco that my travel kit next to the sink also got soaked as a result, including makeup brushes, etc. Also, no hairdryer in room."

"The hotel was very nice very clean. The staff was wonderful. It’s just that $30 a day parking but I know that’s what they’re charging nowadays. The only thing is we expected breakfast because they said they had breakfast. I thought may be a Continental breakfast , but there was none of that, There is a little bar there to order snacks and drinks. The other thing is that the parking is very hidden. You can miss it. We went around several times before we we saw it."

"Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. We didn't pay for an ocean view, but still received a wonderful view of the mountains and Santa Barbara neighborhood. Room was clean, decorated well and we appreciated the complimentary waters after a long drive. We did not use the valet parking, and we were able to find street parking behind the hotel each day. We liked the location of the hotel, right on the beach and not too far from downtown."

"Centrally located, this property is above average. The room was clean, and the property was well maintained. The breakfast, however, lacked variety...and while the coffee was excellent, the eggs (loosely scrambled and NO hard boiled eggs) and dry sausage, wasn't up to par with other like hotels."
