"I’d give this place 6 stars if I could. The very nice family was incredibly helpful in every way. I felt perfectly safe and comfy during my stay. It’s a perfect place to get a good nights sleep. All the bathroom fixtures were modern and spotless! The only thing I would have liked would have been a table lamp in addition to the single overhead room light. Did I mention Mt. Shasta and the surrounding hills? Absolutely spectacular sunset and sunrise. Good eats within a few hundred yards."

"Very welcoming and clean. The king bed was wonderful and the dark out curtains meant great sleep. It is well off the freeway but only a couple of minutes drive; it was quiet. The onsite restaurant had to be the best in town! This place is a super find! And as we checked out there was a brown bag with goodies for our drive! Wonderful!!"

"The staff is super nice and parking was easy. You were able to park in front of your chalet and the rooms were very spacious. We were only there for one night and golfed in the morning at Mt Shasta Golf Resort before we headed home. The course has beautiful views and is very well maintained. I would definitely stay at the Chalet's again and golf or hike."

"I am so impressed. It was like a luxury to be there for the night, so calm and peaceful, so well-appointed and maintained. You drive up and it looks like a motel but very nice. And you go to your room and it is amazing. The only single thing is that the folks in the adjoining room were a bit loud in the morning. Morning people :) It was just an amazing place, highly recommended."

"The Stone Cottage is at the top of my VRBO rentals. Located on a secluded but not difficult to navigate dirt road, it is tucked away amongst the trees. It is very quiet with no visible neighbors. In the winter there is the beautiful lake just outside the door. During the fall there is a wide open meadow. Take chairs down to the lake edge for a beautiful view of Mt Shasta. The interior is beautiful and cozy with a giant fireplace. Everything you need is there, from a stocked kitchen to open walk in shower and large soaking tub. The real gem though is all the windows, all the better to gaze out at the natural surroundings. I have stayed several times and I hope to again many more times. The host is friendly and responsive and she makes everything easy and worry free."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be back! The cottage was great and had everything we needed. The bed was cozy. It was quiet (no one was in the larger attached house). It was easy to find. Great location not far from the road but also surrounded by so many trees you couldn't see the road and you felt like you were in a much more remote location. You could hear the road noise a little but not inside and even if you were out on the deck the road isn't that busy. Town has everything you need and is close. Great restaurants. Really flawless stay.The only thing that wasn't perfect was the couch in the living room which only matters because the TV streaming selection was AMAZING and if you decided to have an evening at home to binge something it wasn't the best couch to cozy up on."
