My stay was from 4 -11 May. Front desk staff were simply wonderful....friendly, helpful, kind & very responsive to guest needs. The rooms are very clean & the beds are clean & comfortable. The breakfast was just ok but nothing to write home about...grits & eggs were a bit too salty in my opinion however, the fruit, coffee, prepacked pastries provided additional options. The overall dining area is kept very clean & organized so you'll definitely find something to eat. Towards the end of my stay, I overheard two men in the parking lot who had apparently just checked in, discussing that they needed to take their puppy through the side entrance because the hotel doesn't allow pets which is one of the reasons I chose to stay here as most of the other hotels in Sumter allow pets. I have severe allergies to pet dander therefore it was nice to finally find a hotel where this wouldn't be a concern...it's unfortunate that there are some people who do not respect this policy however this in no way negatively reflects on the hotel as their policy is very clear on their website. Overall, it was a great stay ( keep up the great work). I look forward to staying again in the future!

Overall the rooms were good. Some updating needed but nothing major. The staff were all very friendly including Dianne who worked setting up the daily breakfast. She was super helpful and very kind. Always went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We checked in very late after traveling all night and the check in was super quick. Food options near by and was easy to find off the highway.

Altho I get it, not a fan of their toilet design
Not a fan of the very small and separate toilet cubbyhole across the room from the other bathroom. Even less of a fan of the smoked glass in the sliding door to the toilet cubbyhole. Girls and boys, if you want a perfectly outlined silhouette of you and what you're doing next to or on the toilet, you'll love this design.

The lobby area was really nice, the room was set up in a way that was very convenient. I had pretty much everything I needed. I just wished they had more breakfast options available. Overall it was great.

It cost too much for what they were offering, which was nothing. They ran out of breakfast because they had a large party. I wasn’t driving so I missed breakfast both mornings, waiting for someone to take me to get something to eat from elsewhere. The couch was raggedy and the remote did not work in TV
