Wife and I spent the week driving around NH and Vermont and this was a wonderful place to stay. We wish we could have stayed a few more nights to enjoy the view and wonderful lodge. We will be back in the near future for some more relaxation. Thanks.
Very much enjoyed everything about our stay, the room was updated, very clean and comfortable. The grounds were well maintained, clean and safe. The game room was a spacious bonus due to the rainy weather.
If we come back to this area we would definitely book with Caitlin again.
The accomodations at the Lodge were perfect for our short stay. The room was very clean, the check in and out was easy, and having a small kitchen was very helpful. I would definitely recommend the Lodge to anyone looking to stay in the Sunapee area.
The room was perfect and exactly as advertised. The pantry/game room was a fun bonus. Quick drive to mount sunapee and found some great restaurants nearby.
My boyfriend and I stayed for one night (New Year’s Eve) and we absolutely loved it. The unit is beautiful and spotless, the community building had a great selection of snacks, plus a lot of fun games and an amazing tv room upstairs. The views were breathtaking and the town had a lot to offer. Can’t wait to come back in the summer with our kids to enjoy the pool and lake! Definitely recommend.
I stayed here with my five year old daughter for one night so we could get on the mountain early. The property was exactly as described - clean, fresh, cozy, and so charming. I don't know when they renovated but everything still looks brand new. Specifically, we loved the decor, the big cozy bed, and the communal game room/family lounge.
I absolultely loved the place. Our room was a small studio with a well stocked kitchenette. Very funcitonal and designed for a longer stay in that you can cook every meal yourself in your room. Everything was neat, clean and modern looking with thoughtful touches throughout. The bathroom had a fun remote controlled toilet and shower area. The pool and pantry/ rec area was also clean and well maintained. Overall i would come back to visit the sunapee lake region
The lake itself had a relaxed summery vibe but it wasnt crowded when we went there.
Cons: its a bit far from most of the hiking trails in new hampshire, so if thats what you are looking for it may not be the best place to stay.
We had a bit of an issue with our bed (it broke in the middle of the night!) But our hosts Caitlyn and Patrick promplty fixed it for us and also refunded the stay for one night.
The pictures and descriptions were spot on and the whole family loved the upgraded / updated amenities from the flooring to the big screen tv, the wooden lodge bed and the sleek black & white bathroom with the electric toilet and he countertop geode sink bowl! Everything you want from coffee (AND creamers!) to fridge etc. was there for your pleasure, The biggest PLUS for me was the Game Shed! Awesome place to unwind after dinner with the family and other families playing shuffleboard, the ringhook game on the wall and other arcade games and the long bar counter & seating area with ~20 stools is awesome - and that's just the first floor. Upstairs houses a huge sectional and massive tv with cozy carpeting and plenty of games to play. I'm a super early riser, so being able to use that space in the morning so I didn't have to wake my family was clutch! There's even a small marketplace area like you see in some hotels with drinks, candy and of course swag. Very well done- so much so we'll be looking into one of the related cabin propertied for next summer!
