"It’s a wonderful hotel gives all the convenience to the guests. Easy walk to pier for ferry to Naoshima day trip after a well-planned breakfast. All the staff are professionally trained & well-mannered. Special mention to Gamal , he gave us a warm welcome at the restaurant for our first lunch. "Obviously the premier hotel in the area as every taxi driver recognizes the name Hanajukai. We had a top floor room with private Onsen with view of the harbor. Because it is up a hill getting in and out requires a taxi. The meals were excellent as well. "

"This is a completely new facility in an old warehouse district of Sakate on Shodoshima. Right on the water, the views from the hotel are stunning.
The staff is courteous, helpful, and professional.
The rooms are spacious, with sitting areas and balconies, but also a bit quirky in design.
We had one dinner at the hotel and two breakfasts. The food was excellent--and reasonably priced.
I would happily return to this hotel, given the opportunity."
