"We loved it! I’ll start with the basics. Super clean room and property. Room (#5) was a good size and bed was comfortable. Decorated so nicely. Bathroom was modern and lovely. Great bedding and towels. Free parking.
What I didn’t expect was the room was filled with lovely amenities!. From the luxurious Canadian soaps and shampoos, to the fridge filled with sparkling water and cream, to the abundance of coffee pods (tea also), decent coffee cups and beautiful glasses. My husband kept going on about how nice it was to have enough coffee to each enjoy several cups each. From our window we had a lovely view of the water. The front porch has great Adirondack chairs and because it was a glorious evening I enjoyed an after dinner coffee and the husband had a beer. We watched the sun go down. It was wonderful.
The hosts sent us a message with dinner and breakfast recommendations and we did both and they didn’t disappoint.
Anyway, we’d come back for sure. Terrific little inn."
Cozy Mountainview Bungalow. French Fishing Village. Whale Watching tours.
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice place 5 min drive to the center of Chéticamp. Modern appliances, fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds. Follow host instructions for location, Google maps was not accurate for the last 100m or so. Highly recommend."
"Kind of a quirky place - one big open concept room with fully stocked kitchen, dining room, 2 comfy queen beds and a living room section plus the bathroom with a washer and dryer. The apartment had lots of windows, fresh air and a balcony with views out onto the water and Cheticamp Island. It was very spacious - at least for two people. My husband and I used it as a home base for exploring the national park for a few days. It was very convenient for grocery, restaurants and a nearby cafe that had good coffee and pastries.
It was not luxurious, but it was cute, clean, very quiet and relaxing. There is a pizza place next door so not sure if it will be as quiet in the bust tourist season."
"Loved the colorful paint on some of the rooms, location and hiking trails were great. A large area for having a fire. Staff was really friendly and inviting, A+++"
"Loved this quaint 2nd level apartment! It was perfect for our family of four and was well equipped in the kitchen. Enjoyed the location which was in easy distance from the whale watching tour, restaurants and right at the fisherman’s wharf where we purchased fresh lobster from the boat! The balcony was great for watching the active harbour area. Liked the in unit laundry facility! There is a steep set of stairs to access the apartment. I would definitely recommend!"
"The room was immaculate and so comfortable- best night sleep I have had on our trip to Cape Breton. Every thoughtful detail- coffee and plenty of creamer in the fridge, even snacks!! Highly recommend!!!"
"My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this tiny home in Chéticamp. The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Despite its small footprint, it felt surprisingly spacious and well organized. The location was excellent, providing easy access to Chéticamp, the Cabot Trail, and Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
We especially appreciated the peaceful setting, convenient parking, and the opportunity to relax after a day of exploring. The tiny home was well maintained and made a great base for our Cape Breton adventures.
The only thing to keep in mind is that, as expected, space is limited in a tiny home. However, the smart layout and amenities made it comfortable and enjoyable for the two of us.
We had a wonderful stay and would gladly recommend this tiny home to anyone visiting Chéticamp and Cape Breton. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
