"I have been to Gecko resort spa and had dinner but never stayed until now. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice it was. The staff are all amazing and welcoming, rooms are clean and comfortable and pools are clean. Meals were huge and very tasty I will definitely stay again."

"I recently stayed at the intercontinental resort at Fiji, what an amazing resort. From the beginning of our holiday to the end, everything was outstanding. The room was spacious, spotless & was always kept with fresh drinking water & little treats at night. Staff go above & beyond in all areas of this hotel, especially the buffet at breakfast. Sera especially in the buffet was such a beautiful lady. always helpful &took particular interest in our grandson each day. Maraia in Toba also gets mention for her beautiful nature & always helpful. All the Fijians are genuine & their kindness always made you feel welcome. The resort is stunning with an infinity pool over looking the spactaular ocean & the sunsets are not to be missed. Great resort for small children lots of activities for all ages. Can't wait to go back one of our best holidays."

"We stayed in a beach front villa ( 2 adults and 2 kids). The villa was suprisingly big and spacious. Super friendly staff and everything well kept and clean. Great place to bring your book and wind down while the kids entertain themselves. Also the best thing about this place is there is no TV in the room so bring your playing cards and have fun. We really loved our stay at Hideaway"

"We stayed in an Ocean Deluxe Grand Room on the ground level and unfortunately the room condition was extremely disappointing. There was a very strong musty/mouldy smell throughout our stay that made the room feel damp and unhealthy. Honestly, I don’t believe rooms in this condition should be sold. To be fair, the staff and management genuinely tried to help. We raised the issue the morning after arrival and, due to the resort being full, they explained they couldn’t move us until Wednesday (3 days later). They arranged a deep clean, which we appreciated. Another Ocean Deluxe Grand Room became available on Tuesday in the next block, however it had the same strong smell, suggesting this may affect multiple ground floor rooms. What saved our experience here is that the staff were absolutely beautiful. They’re warm, caring and professional throughout. I truly felt sorry for them having to manage guest dissatisfaction around room conditions that seem beyond their control. We paid around AUD $600 per night excluding breakfast, so the room quality felt very hard to justify at this price point. There were definitely highlights though. Our kids loved the pools, water park, mini golf and buffet. We celebrated our anniversary at Takali Restaurant and the staff made it incredibly special. The CHI Spa was also fantastic and highly recommended. The resort has a lovely family atmosphere and wonderful staff, but the accommodation quality did not match the luxury branding or pricing."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Maui Palms on the Coral Coast. We will be back next year. The staff was phenomenal. So friendly and eager to meet & accommodate every need. We feel they are our Fiji family! We really enjoyed the infinity pool and excellent snorkelling and kayaking on the coral reef right at the resort. There is an activity coordinator to offer a variety of activities and bring all the water sport equipment down to the waterfront. The food was delicious and always served with warm greetings and smiles."

"This was the perfect place for me to stay as a solo traveller. My beach hut had air conditioning and a very comfortable bed. There was a hammock outside that was my favorite feature. The resort cat was such a lovey ginger boy."

"This is our second trip to the Outrigger, and it was once again really lovely. Most of the things I didn't like had to do with the excessive prices and fees that guests are charged. Things I liked *Facilities and rooms are well-maintained, modern and clean *Spacious room overlooking the ocean, with all the amenities you need (fridge, hair dryer, nice-sized bathroom, safe) *Afternoon snack & drink each day *Lots of activities for adults and kids (particularly enjoyed free use of snorkels) *4-5 restaurants to choose from (we liked the Sundowner Bar & Grill the most) *Bebe Spa experience was nice (the view is amazing up there) *Love that there is an Adults only pool and restaurant *Free wi-fi *Detailed information about amenities and services available through an app *Ability to track room bill through your TV *Channel ABC Australia was available (good for AFL fans) Things I didn't like *No options to purchase fruit or healthy snacks, which is a shame given that there are no shops near the resort. *No Fijian food on the menus *3% surcharge for payment with a credit card is insane when you're spending thousands on your room bill or accommodation payment *10FJD fee and 900 FJD max withdrawal using ATM *Hotel transfer cost is high, around 160 AUD (can get for 100 AUD elsewhere) *7.50 FJD for a 1 litre bottle of water (they only give you 1 complimentary bottle per day) *Although the views and the general experience at Bebe Spa were nice, the massage itself was pretty average"
