If you love the old school beach shacks and looking for an absolute bargain holiday house - then this is it!
This pet friendly holiday home sits 50m opposite the popular Dicky Beach and has plenty of room for the whole family with a very large bedroom and ensuite upstairs, and spacious living area downstairs.
Take a short stroll to Dicky Beach just a few metres up the road - including the dog friendly section of the beach or walk to the Dicky Beach Surf Club for a meal.
If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with the family this home could be for you. Not the prettiest home in the street but there is plenty of room for everyone. Our very special budget accommodation beach shack!
A few minutes drive away is the Caloundra CBD with a number of shops and restaurants to choose from and also a little further up the road, the very popular Caloundra Rsl.
Whether it's a relaxing beach holiday that you are after, or a little more excitement, the Sunshine Coast and this particular location has everything you could want for the perfect holiday.
The lounge room consists of one 3 seater and one 2 seater couch, television, Dvd player and ceiling fan. The dining room consists of a dining table catering for six guests. The kitchen contains a dishwasher, microwave, fridge, oven, cook top and all cooking utensils.
The main bedroom upstairs has a queen bed, ceiling fan, 2 seater couch, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers plus an ensuite with shower and toilet. The main bedroom downstairs has a queen bed and ceiling fan, bedroom 2 has a single bed and built in wardrobe, while bedroom 3 has three single beds, a ceiling fan, built in wardrobe and pedestal fan. The bathroom consists of a vanity and shower and the laundry contains a washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing board, vacuum and pedestal fan.
There is a large balcony off the main bedroom upstairs - perfect for breakfast. There is room for 2 vehicles in the driveway and a sizeable back yard which includes an outdoor setting and Bbq.
Pet Welcome: Outside dog only. Conditions apply so please advise us at least 1 month prior to arrival of the breed and size of the dog. If we are unaware of a dog staying without prior approval your bond will be withheld by the owner (see clause regarding pets in Terms and Conditions)

This property was perfectly located for our group. There was not enough crockery for our group and the property was clean but very tatty. We appreciated being able to bring our dog.
Pros: pet friendly, location, managed wellCons: the house is in very poor condition, even though it's cleaned, it feels dirty, you don't feel like touching anything or take shoes off, killed couple of cockroaches during our stay

Unmaintained & run down
Our initial reaction to this house was that it extremely old, is in need of a lot of work.
The glassware, plates & kitchen ware was chipped, mis-matched and nowhere near caters for the number of people the house accommodates. Poor drainage caused flooding inside , causing carpet to be saturated. The outside area got flooded in rain also.
Really disappointed.Thanks to the local agent we were relocated.
Great location only 100 metres from the beach with small shops close by.
The house is a beach shack - things are a little old and some things are worn (small maintenance issues). The bedroom upstairs gets a great breeze at night and you can hear the surf to go to sleep.
Even still has a VCR player attached to the TV but no other tech (no wifi).
We had 7 people staying and it was comfortable.
