Babington Ocean Front Beach Home with Pool--heated pool optional--

Babington House has been a fun and enjoyable destination for many guests for many years.
Enjoy 9 acres of privacy on Ocean Blvd West with 420 feet of stunning beach frontage in the West End gated community. This exceptional property has a large pool and decking with attractive fencing which assures total privacy. "Babington" is privately maintained and immaculately clean. All bed linens and bath towels are included throughout the year. All beds are freshly made upon your arrival so that guests can enjoy a stress-free vacation in this gorgeous home. This 5 bedroom, 4 bath home accommodates 11 guests. The first floor has 2 bedrooms with a king bed in the master bedroom and a double and twin bed in the second. The second floor has 3 bedrooms with a queen in the first, a queen in the second and a queen in the third. All upstairs bedrooms have an ocean view and an oceanfront porch with rockers. This home offers central heat and air, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer, quick-chill refrigerator, additional large ice maker, high-speed internet, smart TV's in all bedrooms, smart TV in living room area with Apple TV, DVD player and surround sound speaker, upper and lower porches, enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water, fish cleaning station with hot water, covered grilling area with seating and covered parking. The private walkway to the beach has a sun deck, stargazing deck and multiple showers. The pool is nicely furnished with chairs, lounges, tables and umbrellas.

Heated pool OPTIONAL for early spring and late fall with 48 hour notice. A separate 60 dollar daily fee will be charged.
Pool heater not available Dec through February. If you choose to purchase pool heat we will turn it on prior to your arrival with the understanding that outdoor weather conditions greatly affect the pool water temperature. Pool heaters cannot operate if the temperature outside is under 50 degrees. Please message us if you would like the pool heated

This is a NON-SMOKING home.

Bedding: K, Double, Twin, Queen, Queen & Queen

Parking Notes: Guests may park directly in front of the home. There is a covered parking area as well as parking in the driveway. NOTE: Parking on the street and/or sidewalks is strictly prohibited and may result in a violation ticket or towing.

Our pool company, 4-Season's, comes by for routine pool cleaning/maintenance on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. They are quick and you probably won’t see them.
Our linen company, Shallotte Cleaners, picks up/drops off our beach house laundry on Tuesdays & Fridays. You probably won't see them either. No one needs inside access to the house. The laundry is stored in a locked closet under the carport.

We provide only enough toilet paper, trash bags and soap to get you through the first day or two. Beach towels and beach chairs are not provided.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Put all bath towels, kitchen towels and bed sheets in Boomer Rental bags hanging in the laundry room. Put all bedspreads and blankets in the Shallotte cleaner bags also hanging in the laundry room.
Please take all laundry bags down to the carport for pick up. Thank you!

In a word? Spectacular! Everything was even better than advertised! The view, rooms, decks, grounds and pool were awesome. Huge, front-facing windows and view were a wonderful surprise!The kitchen had everything we needed.The whole house and outside area were so clean and comfortable! We chose this rental for its short stay option. We were so happy with our choice.Communication with our host was excellent. Beds were very comfortable and everything was immaculate. Multi generational family of 9 ranging from age 2 thru 77.This was our 2nd year staying at Babbington. It lived up to the memories we made last year!Quiet beach location. Well equipped kitchen with separate ice maker. The pool is great! All bedding in cleaned between renters. Plenty of pillows for sleepers that like more than 1 pillow.

Love this property and home; the house is immaculate, the pool is large and beautifully maintained and the large property gives you much privacy! We have stayed here several times and hope we can continue to have our family beach vacation here.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool and steps from the beach were highlights for my grandchildren. We loved not being right next to a bunch of houses and really enjoyed the quietness. Spacious and relaxing Holden Beach getaway

Our family beach trip included our three adult children, their spouses, and our two granddaughters ages 1 and 2. It was very helpful to have separate bathrooms and adequate spaces (beach, pool, upstairs and downstairs decks, and lower level parking) for alone time when needed. Perks like multiple coffee pots, an ice maker, a very-well stocked kitchen, multiple hoses for spraying off, and a fish-cleaning station were all very convenient.

Our second stay at the perfect place

This well-appointed home has everything including a smashing location on a large lot, a pool and sparsely populated beach. The owners are top notch communicators and help with anything needed. We were in a bind due to storm that dropped two feet of rain and left us houseless for our vacation at our original booking in Bald Head Island. Within hours we were able to pivot and secure Babington and had a perfect rest of our vacation with friends from around the country

We love the lack of crowds on the beach, the pool and just about every aspect of this place. Morning coffee on the porch in a rocker is just paradise. Sad to go home.

Always an amazing stay at Babington

We truly enjoyed our stay. You just can’t beat the privacy you get wit the Babington house. The pool is exceptional!!! Only issue we had was the downstairs master bathroom had an extra moldy shower curtain. I was very disappointed as the price paid for the week I think allowed us clean showers. Overall I’d say 8/10.
