We stayed here for one night before heading to stay on the national park. Rooms were very clean and shower was good. Perfect for one night, although beds were very very hard and windows thin so can hear noise from street. Good value for money

Location is prime. Disappointed: lack of water kettle, ceramic cups, small towels (only bath towels provided), glasses in bathroom (for brushing teeth), hair dryer and bedside reading lamps. All the above are generously available in most hotels. Very disappointed: staff at front desk NOT helpful with booking daytime longtail boat tour in Tapi River (Klong Roi Sai). They could have advised us alternative ways to find the tour. We later found out ourselves two ways: go directly to the pier along Tapi where boat tour agents are easily found OR walk into any other hotels/hostels which can book the tour. We went to My Place Hostel nearby where the front staff gladly helped us to book the tour. We weren’t even guests of that hostel.

Just about ok for a 1 night stay, but bed was very hard and difficult to sleep in, noisy traffic and dogs barking in the neighbourhood at night. No hairdryer available. Air conditioning works well. Rooms very basic overall, different than in the pictures.

Stayed here for 2 days as a family of 4, as a transit down to the Islands in Southern Thailand. Unfortunately one of our party was nursing 'Bangkok belly' so we couldn't see a lot of Surat Thani. However the hotel was functional and utilitarian - exactly what we needed at the time. My only critique (besides the external noise, nothing the hotel can do about that) is the fact the rooms are incredibly spartan, and lack kettles and night lamps. Overall it's perfect for transiting backpackers, so I know kettles aren't a priority, but they can be used for other things like noodles, tea, coffee. Overall a good hotel and good value for money with very nice staff. The cafe they own (right next to it) is also lovely, with a good selection of food. Would recommend.

We stayed here for 1 night before flying out. It was nice and the service was good, but the beds are so hard and the walls are so thin we didn’t get much sleep.

Basic hotel
Not as nice as the photos. But typical for Surat town. There isn’t much to do in Surat, so Rajthani is fine for an overnight stay. Poor WiFi in room, but good in lobby. No food available in hotel.

The staff is nice and helpful, nearby almost everything (night market, restaurants, cafe, mall, family mart, 711) Just complaint about the room soundproof, it was terrible. Stay there for 3 nights, every morning around 6am I heard few woman chatting outside the room corridor and bang the room door few times.. Its so irritating for a light sleeper like me.

The Rajjthani was beautifully clean modern had a lovely vibe staff were great. I would have loved a jug so I could make myself a cuppa, we had to get hot water from the bottom floor. Beds were very hard but that's most of Thailand!

OVERNIGHT STAY
Nice place for an overnighter. New, clean nice staff, good area. Only drawbacks, hard beds and trickly shower. As I said, good for an overnighter.

The staffs here very polite and have a very good service mind. In the room have soup,shampoo ,NO shower gel,NO hair dryer, Please prepare if you need anything extra. the room maintain very well. easy to access to lot of night spot.

Stayed here for 1 night to catch a ferry to the islands in the morning. Great place to stop over. My room looked just like the pictures. Very modern, very clean, very quiet. Plus we got adjoining rooms which was a plus.

Our stay was fine. The price was affordable. The parking at the back of the hotel was limited though, so we had to park at another hotel parking area which was about 2 min walk from the hotel.

Great stay
Had a good time staying in the Rajthani Hotel. For the price it provided everything we needed. One thing I would like to change wasn’t something to do with the hotel but it was just unfortunate that night we stayed, the bin men came in the morning around 6/7am and that interrupted our sleep. But as I said nothing to do with the hotel just our luck. Overall I would stay here again as the staff were all helpful and polite.

Everything you need for one night or several!
Stayed one night here last-minute in mid-August as we were traveling back from Koh Pha Ngan and had an early morning flight out of Surat Thani airport (which is actually NOT close to anything).  This hotel was exactly what we needed: great price, newly established, and only a five minute walk from the airport bus pick-up / drop-off spot. The lobby was very bright and welcoming, and there are convenience stores and a night market nearby. Building itself is quite large- as if it was previously an apartment block... The room and bathroom were basic but very clean: more than enough storage space for luggage, refrigerator, hot shower, new toilet... nothing special but nothing lacking. DEFINITELY recommend this place and the airport bus rather than dealing with a pricey taxi or crashing at the airport!
