Great property and great company

Garden City Realty is very accommodating, and all of the staff has been very friendly. Any problems we encountered were quickly resolved by the company.

Great location in quiet Surfside Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lindo Mar is a well maintained oceanfront house managed by Garden City Realty. My wife and I enjoyed mornings on the back porch watching the sunrise and, later, all of the activity on the beach. In the late afternoon, we enjoyed the front screened porch watching walkers and traffic go by. It was a relaxing get away which we thoroughly enjoyed.Garden City Realty was very accommodating and all of the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. A great group of folks.

Each of my teen kids had their own room and there was plenty of room for all of us in the main area of the house. The location was perfect and my kids enjoyed walking to the pier every day. We especially enjoyed the covered back patio in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have enjoyed several stays at Lindo Mar. it is a great beach house in quiet Surfside Beach. Our only complaint previously was the lack of a garbage disposal, but now one has been installed. We very much enjoy the porches. The front porch is screened, and the back porch is covered. Both have rocking chairs which aid in the enjoyment of the porches. All of the Garden City Realty staff we encountered, including office and maintenance, were very friendly and helpful. If a problem arose, it was quickly resolved.

THE TV & NUMEROUS REMOTES CAN MAKE IT CHALLENGING AT TIME. ALSO FOR SOME REASON THIS YEAR, THE WATER PRESSURE IN THE SHOWER SPECIALLY, WAS WEAK. BUT OVERAL.....LOVE THE PLACE AND CONSIST EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY. ALREADY BOOKED FOR NEXT YEAR AND COUNTING THE DAYS.

The only issue was my adult children said the queen beds were horribly uncomfortable and hard. I would suggest new queen mattresses and then it would be perfect!! Hope to say there again next sumner.

The toilet handles are a pain, definitely need replacing. This is the first ocean front property that I have stayed where part of the view is obstructed by very large shrubs. Overall, a nice place to stay and I would definitely go back.

We've stayed here before and it was the same way. This is a much needed improvement for this house.

The location was family oriented and the views were amazing. The kitchen was huge and there was plenty of room for cooking for a big family . The house was clean and the AC worked perfectly , even on the hottest of the days . The bathrooms were huge and I absolutely loved the showers . The porch was so peaceful to sit on and watch the sun rise in the am . I can’t say enough good things about this house . I highly recommend it !!!!

The filters for the air conditioning units had not been replaced in 6 months and the AC was having a hard time keeping up with the extreme heat. We did go out and purchase new filters and replaced them. We stayed in the same place last year, and again I would recommend the queen bed mattresses being replaced as they are very worn and uncomfortable. Overall we had a wonderful tine staying there.

Maintenance or a plumber had to come almost daily during our week stay. At checkout, I told the gentleman how unsatisfactory this was and he replied "I will let them know." Will not likely use the agency again.

Great Family Getaway home...

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my first experience with vacationing in this area (usually do the gulf), but I foundthis home and beach VERY family friendly. Iwould stay here again. The open great room/dining room/kitchen area enabled us to keep an eye on the younger family members andstill enjoy normal activities (cooking..very well stocked kitchen, tv, games, and hanging out on the porch. The only drawback would be the absence of a tub, but theoutdoor shower enable us to take care of the littler family members. The beach was great, bring your chairs as the material suggests. I used the linen service/beds made and arrived to a place where I could just begin VACATIONING! No grill, but have a small portable that we used out in the lawn area.Fenced yard was great for kids to run around and there was all kinds of off street parking.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first stay at this location. The upstairs area was great and very roomy. The kitchen area had about anything you could ask for in the way of utensils, pots and pans, etc.. There wasn’t a griddle, which I always carry, for frying bacon and bologna. The bedrooms were plenty big and the beds were comfortable. The two bathrooms were very spacious and contained very nice shower units. There is no bathtub. The porches were great, complete with rocking chairs. The only two negatives I found , 1) There isn’t an enclosed shower (with hot water) downstairs. There was a spigot and cold shower to rinse off after coming from the beach. 2) There are 2 condos, of about 20 units ,on either side of the house which made the beach a little tight, especially this year with the pandemic going on. Other than that a very nice house.

The beach was not too crowded. We rented the house through Garden City Realty, and they made the whole process simple and convenient. Although much of the transaction was completed online, the staff were professional and extremely helpful.

A quiet place to relax

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at Lindo Mar, and it was a little unusual. Hurricane Ian made landfall about 40 miles south, so the storm was unquestionably a memorable experience. One thing for sure, Lindo Mar is well built. Water did overflow the dunes, and it reached 2 to 3 feet high under the house. As a result, the concrete under the house was covered with sand once the water receded. Garden City Realty had someone remove the sand within a few days, something we really didn’t expect that quickly. Lindo Mar is well maintained and is in a quiet, family oriented town. A great place to renew. We enjoyed sitting on both porches, the covered porch in the back looking at the sunrise in the morning and the front screened porch in the evenings. The house is very comfortable and is a typical old time beach house design with two bedrooms on each side of a central room which is sectioned into a kitchen, dining area and living room. There are two updated bathrooms on each side of the house. The only complaint is there is not a garbage disposal.Garden City Realty was very accommodating and very professional. Everyone we dealt with was courteous and attentive. The entire process from securing the rental to occupation to departure was well managed by the company.

We didn't get King sheets in our service and they were there bright and early the next morning. We had a little trouble with the air while we were there. I made a call and someone was there within an hour to look it over and solve the problem. These things didn't take away from our good time. We love this area. Love the house. Close to everything we wanted. The house was clean and well stocked with pots and pans and silverware galore!We will be looking to book again next year!Thanks So Much!!Amy from Greenville, SC

On our third day, the air conditioning stopped working, and we contacted Garden City Realty just before 5:00 pm. Within an hour, the air conditioning was repaired. Great service.
