SANDY HARBOR WATER PARK FUN

Families love having so much to do without leaving Ocean Lakes.

Sandy Harbor Water Park offers nearly 3 acres of water features, including the Adventure River, Drop Zone Mat Racer, The Tube slide, Splash Zone, and Tad Pool.

Ocean Lakes is making a major investment in Sandy Harbor!

Beginning September 8, 2026, the existing indoor pool, original outdoor pool, and Sandy Harbor Mini Golf are scheduled to close for demolition and construction.

During construction, Ocean Lakes plans to use the Adventure River as a pool alternative when weather and construction conditions permit.

The expanded Sandy Harbor facilities are targeted to be ready for Memorial Day Weekend 2027 and are planned to feature:

A brand-new resort-style outdoor pool
Private cabanas
A new 24,327-square-foot climate-controlled indoor facility
A significantly larger indoor pool
Kids` splash pool and aquatic play area

Ocean Lakes is a complete vacation destination. The Sandy Harbor family fun center has the “Splash Zone” water park with slides and lazy river and game center that kids always love. The Nature Center can provide learning during your vacation. There are several playgrounds near the beach, an Olympic size outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool for year round enjoyment, a convenience store, Sandy’s Meet and Eat restaurant, the Sandy Harbor cafe, and the “snack shak” to grab a bite.

Ocean Lakes charges $15 per vehicle per day for parking. This must be paid directly to Ocean Lakes and is not included in our cost quote. Reservations made in advance can qualify for express check-in, save a few dollars and beat the lines on check-in day.

Ocean Lakes is perfect for a family vacation, away from the traffic and crowds, but still, a short drive to the wide variety of attractions, shopping, dining, and entertainment the Grand Strand has to offer. Luxury shopping and dining are a few minutes north in the Market Commons area. Just a short drive north is all the attractions and shopping of Myrtle Beach, Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand shopping center, the Myrtle Beach boardwalk, and one of the world’s largest Ferris wheels. For a unique cultural experience, Brookgreen Gardens displays one of the world’s largest collections of sculpture by American artists in a lush outdoor setting, along with a zoo and butterfly garden, it’s just a few minutes south.

With this agreement, you and AiTSBR, wish to agree on the terms of your renting the property on a short-term basis for vacation purposes.
