Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The overall stay was fantastic 1st read cancellation policy closely we changed reservation which they weren't able to refund one dime of the money deposited..but in Friday before our checkout checkout Saturday someone was already moving in..2nd if a large family double check pool size. 3rd needed battery changed on a chirping smoke detector never got it changed..also check parking regulations..we were asked to move a trailer after 4 days.of being parked in a spot that so said could not park there(hoa)perhaps? Our family had a great 's the small things that make a difference. Our vacation planner Pam was a pleasure to work with. A great place to rent from. Just be sure you know everything up front!

We had a small issue with a toilet seat and they were there within an hour and had it fixed. and super friendly at the same time.

The home was spacious, well furnished and clean. The only negatives: previous renters left trash in shrubs around pool area. One of the many beds needed- the frame needed to be tightened. We hope this unit is available for future stays

What You See is What You Get

Nice Location and plenty of room for 13 people (Adults and Children). The devil is in the detail. Little or no household goods to get you bye, especially garbage bags. On vacation for a week, I don't want to stock a 6 bedroom house. We left enough toilet paper for several guests for the following weeks. The house was a bit dirty, with a condom in the bathroom and a few dead cockroaches. The small appliances were a bit old and cheap. A little extra effort and maybe an additional charge could have avoided these issues. All in all, we had a great time. Garden City Realty is great to deal with.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a couple different families that joined us on this vacation and it worked out so well with the layout of this home. The different levels added the privacy needed for each family. The house was clean and comfortable and plenty of hot water for all the showers. The only two issues that we had were that the kitchen seemed to not have very much in the way of pots an pans for cooking at home for that large of a crowd. The other issue was that the pool was constantly dirty from the landscaping and tree debris going into the pool. Didn't like having to clean the pool every time we got in it. However we did enjoy the pool.

Needs new mattresses or at minimum foam toppers. The second level dish washer would open and the rack roll out into the floor. The interior hand rail was broken away from the wall. The second level kitchen water pressure was very bad. The showers shut off randomly while showering. The pots and pans were not adequate, a large house obviously needs a supply of large pots and pans.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation was nearly perfect! The house was amazing! There was plenty of space in the house for our 2 families & a few friends! Upon arrival at the house we noticed it was very warm throughout each floor (thermostat set at 75) In reading the leading agreement I understood not to turn the air lower than 72. The only level that ever maintained a comfortable 72 was the 3rd. One morning the second floor made it 72, however, it was only 62 outside! The first floor never made it under 74, even when it was cooler outside. That is the only thing that kept it from being absolutely perfect! Thank goodness the weather was tolerable I can’t imagine if it was 90’ or hotter & the house not being able to get any cooler. The house is on the perfect corner lot with the canal & pond & only the one house in close proximity! Loved the house & location! We all did!

First is a few beds in the house need to be replaced severely. The queen on the second floor is the worst which was my room. Other is pool is dirty from the landscaping and it has no skimmer basket. So the bugs and debris go in and right back out to the pool.

I would recommend updating or replacing things such as the broken microwave, toaster, upstairs faucet, and down stairs dryer. Also the house was not swept or vacuumed when we arrived. There was sand everywhere, even an entire pile in on if the bedrooms.

The property could have been cleaner, for example moldy third floor shower, molded shower curtain on the second floor. lamps and light fixtures were super dusty. overall great property, the cleaning staff just needs to step up their game. I would stay at this property again and I would recommend it to others. cleaning just needs some one in charge of seeing that the job is getting done! mattresses definitely leave something to be desired!!

Great Vacation home for multiple families

We had a great time at this home. Offered several floors which helps when you have multiple families. The house was clean, plenty of hot water for the families to take showers, and the location was fantastic!! The elevator was a much needed item for that many floors and came in very handy. It was just far enough from Myrtle Beach to not be overly busy, but close enough to attractions, restaurants, and entertainment, and of course within a block from the beach.....which was the best!! The kitchen could use some additional pots and pans. There were very few and when you are cooking for that amount of people it's hard with only a couple of pots and pans to choose from. The trees around the pool need maintained. We had to clean the pool every time we got in it because it was full of debris falling from the trees, and sometimes that was three times a day. We had just a couple of maintenance issues while we were there, but the office took care of promptly and twice within minutes over the phone. I would definitely recommend this property, and may even go back in the future myself!
