Perfect getaway

This place was perfect for us. The location was great, close to everything we wanted to do. The campground itself was awesome. We will definitely be back.

Great Vacation

We just got back on Saturday from a week stay at the Surf Shack. We had a wonderful vacation and the Surf Shack was a great place to stay. The owner responded quickly to any questions we had and the neighbors on both sides were very friendly and offered great recommendations on restaurants. We enjoyed the porch and it was a great place for our dog to hang out since it was fenced in. We will definitely rent the Surf Shack again!!

The Surf Shack

Property is very old. One bedroom is in the kitchen. Shower is not good. I just used the outside shower. Need more parking. Overall we still enjoyed ourselves.

Surf Shack Fun

We loved staying at the surf shack. Added another day last last minute and Sam took care of it seamlessly. This is a camper with two built on rooms. The only thing I would suggest is putting another air conditioned unit to cool the camper side of this rental. Great fun, great stay. We would stay again. Very clean when we arrived. Loved being pet friendly so we could bring both of our dogs.

Overall it’s ok

Overall, it’s OK. The floors was a bit dirty .there was food left on floor from the previous renter,dog/cat on the stove and counter.Picture made it look bigger than what it is . Maybe 3-4 people at the most. It’s 1. Bedroom and a kitchen bedroom all in one .Golf cart was awesome.

Don’t trust this owner with your credit card. He now wants to charge a fee after the fact that was not disclosed at booking. It’s a great place so long as you don’t mind getting ripped off

Pictures of house were very misleading, there is only one bedroom, the other “bedroom” is in the kitchen, and only separated by a shower curtain. Outside shower didn’t work properly. Location of house is surrounded by properties under construction, so if you don’t want to listen to construction all week I wouldn’t rent. Also inside shower is unfinished with paint chipping and mold like spots with a rusty shower caddy to hold your shower items. Outside kitchen area was dirty, and outside fridge was full of old and rotten food, and milk. Air conditioning only covers living room area, no other rooms in the house. Pull out couch bed does not work like a pull out couch. The price of this house is not worth the size or accommodations. Pictures very misleading, rate 2/10.

Loved it!

This is such a cute place to stay with your small family. We enjoyed it and was the perfect size for me, my husband and our 4 kids. The property manager is super nice and helpful. The house was amazingly clean and the cleaning crew they have does a superb job. Definitely would recommend this house if you’re looking for a small affordable place to stay.

Owner very responsive for this cute little cottage!

The cottage was super cute & clean upon arrival. We did have 4 adults that somehow worked within the living quarters but it’s definitely tight. We enjoyed the beach and the outdoor shower. Neighbors were all friendly and helpful with offering places to eat, things to do, etc.Very family oriented place to stay with maximum security. Owner was responsive at all times & helped a lot.

This was our first time in Ocean Lakes and the property owner was amazing! He was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Our family can’t wait to come back again! We would love to stay again in this property. It was the perfect size for us.

Cozy beach house

This trip was one of our favorites! This house was perfect for our kiddos and pets with the cute fenced in patio area. The outdoor shower/bathroom was a very nice touch. It was spotless when we arrived as well. Beautiful beach house on a quiet street. 10/10! Thank you Sam!

Great beach house

This was our first time staying in a permanent site at Ocean Lakes and it was a great one. This house has everything you need and easily slept 2 adults and 4 kids ages 3, 5, 8, and 12. The outdoor kitchen is excellent. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Nice home

This was second time going to Ocean Lakes(first time was years ago). The house was nice, clean and loved the decor of the home. Our favorite part was the outdoor shower.

Staying here allows anyone with a family to darn near have an a one spot stop for anything u can imagine, beach, waterpark, arcade, golf cart rides, etc quite the place highly recommend!!

Very nice little place

Loved our vacation at The Surf Shack! It was a little cramped, but would be perfect for 4. Had a fenced in area our dog loved to hang out in and people watch. Enjoyed the outdoor shower! Great time, convenient to everything!
