"I hate leaving negative info but for the benefit of future travelers, I have to be honest about a few items with this property: 1. It was absolutely buzzing with flies inside. There was spray and a fly swatter inside which indicates this must be a known issue to the property manager. It made our short stay very uncomfortable. 2. This is not a hot tub, it is a swedish bath. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of fun options for activities. "Hotel Royal Savoy is a beautiful hotel. Totally refurbished with a new 100 room wing with spa added and reopened in 2016 after a multi year refurbishment. I have stayed here several times in the last 39 years, since living here for 7 weeks when studying at the near by IMD in 1986. It’s a suburb location. Midway between the Lac Leman and the rail station. If arriving by train take the metro just 2 stops towards the lake and you will emerge less than 100 metres from the hotel. The refurbishment was of the highest possible standard. And the buffet breakfasts on outside deck are exquisite. Thanks again. "
