"Geejam is a small piece of paradise for sure. Nestled along mountainside in a rain forest-like environment, it is impossible to be stressed here. Staff were amazing (kudos to Tishawney, Brian, Norton and Jada who ensured we were well taken care of) and the view of the ocean was impeccable. Geejam has lots of stairs so be prepared to get your heart rate up. It’s all worth it though. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are spacious and modern with good water pressure and temperature, and the food is delicious. Your room will either have a balcony or a jacuzzi depending on room type. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again if in Portland. "

"This is a lovely, friendly place with stunning views, including sunrise, and wonderful tropical gardens. We were given an upgrade to a cabin at the front of the property on arrival, and Marlon (the owner) took the time to show us round his growing project. The infinity pool is fabulous! A couple of things for potential guests to consider: (1) tin our cabin we had a curtain to separate the bedroom from the toilet/ shower area, which only gave us a modicum of privacy, and (2) at present (Feb 2026) there is a lot of construction work going on, but the place - which is already gorgeous - will be exceptional when finished. "
